Why did I wait so long to read this book. Once I opened the book the story started with a bang and it kept going until the very end. I am so glad that we got inside of Daemons head this time around. I think it added a lot to the story and just made it that much more awesome. I liked seeing Katy get aggressive and start saving herself this time around. Of coarse Daemon comes to her rescue but she really did put up a good fight all on her own. And even though she has to do some pretty out of control things she gets over them quickly and we aren't dragged down by her obsessing over them.

If you have read this series up until now be prepared to be wowed! There is so much that happens in this book. People die and Daemon and his friends say a big screw you to the government and things get crazy. Yes the romance is there and its there is a VERY big big way.I mean it, the romance was pretty hot for a YA book. It was nice seeing how Daemons sees Kat. And it was a nice break to see these two connect in all the mess they where in.

We got to see more of Dawson and Bethany and learn a little secret there. We also see how screwed up this organization is that has kidnapped Kat. There is so much to this book that you'll just have to read it to see it. Of coarse we are left on a cliffhanger but it was expected and wasn't too bad. I can't wait for the next book and to see where they are going to go from here.

    2. I was rebuked by the YA label at first, but really, it's worth reading. And I loved Obsession too ! Haven't read Covenant yet, but it's on my list.

  3. Thrillsies! Yay, I'm glad its not a let down after the last cliffhanger. I want to read Obsession first b/c I heard that it fits between Opal and Origins, but I do look forward to this one for certain.

    Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

    1. You know there is just a tiny cross over in these books. Seriously one little scene and its not important for you to know the back story when Hunter is in this book. you can read it just fine. But I must say I FREAKING LOVED Obsession, maybe more or just as much as this series. So it is worth the read.
