Neva is a werewolf who was changed without her permission. She doesn't want anything to do with being a werewolf and she's determined to do anything she can to stop it from happening. Including committing suicide. Neva is on a mission and no one is stopping her from what she's trying to do. That is until Travis Williamson watches her jump off a cliff.

To say that their relationship gets off to a rocky start is an understatement. Because even though Neva jumps off the cliff, her werewolf side is determined to live. While she lands with a few broken bones, she's still breathing. Not too mention Travis, a werewolf himself, is not leaving her side. He takes her to a hospital and tries to convince her that being a werewolf, a changeling, isn't so bad. However, her sire has taught her that being a werewolf is something that is awful. Neva is convinced that being a werewolf means being controlled by your sire and killing whoever they want killed. Travis has his work cut out for him.

Neva and Travis are on the run from Neva's sire who is actually her sister. Neva's sister is literally psychotic, sociopathic, and homicidal. She practices crazy, dark magic and is convinced that she's invincible among other things. When Travis gets tricked by her, it's up to Neva to save his life and finally stand up to her sister after a lifetime of abuse.

I really enjoyed this book. I like that Neva's sister is a true villain. In a lot of books the bad guy is just some misguided, good guy under disguise. But this time, she is the big bad nasty. Seriously, she's pretty gross. I also like Travis' and Neva's relationship. Neva didn't fall directly in with Travis just because he's a strong, sexy dude. She definitely gives him a run for his money. Things aren't always easy but they work together and get things done.

If you need another book to add to your TBR, pick this up. It's a great book with a fast moving story that you will surely enjoy.
