This novella releases on tomorrow 6/25 and it's only $1.99. It's definitely a great insight to what's to come in Midnight Frost. you're going to want to check it out.

Spartan Frost is from Logan's POV, just weeks after the Reaper attack on Mythos Academy. As we know from the end of Crimson Frost, Logan betrayed Gwen in the worst way humanly possible. Gwen has forgiven him but can Logan forgive himself? It doesn't seem like it in the weeks following. He has gone off to New York with his father and shows no sign of returning to Mythos. He still hasn't spoken to Gwen and he refuses to do so. Since he's been gone, all he's really done is train.

The training comes in handy when word comes of a Reaper hideout extremely close to where they're at. Of course Logan's dad needs to go investigate but Logan is heading out with him against his dad's wishes. When they get to the ski lodge that has been holding the Reapers, they end up finding more than they bargained for. They end up finding something that could affect Gwen, maybe more than anyone else.

I really thought that this was a good insight to what Logan is going through. It's a great transition piece between Crimson Frost and Midnight Frost. Plus getting into Logan's head after what happened in Crimson Frost is so necessary. Definitely check this teaser out, it's a great story.

  1. This one's next-up in my review queue. I can't wait! I just have to make it through this 400+ page book first. Urgh!
