I loved this series and I am really sad to see it go. I really think Rachel has a lot more to cover in this world if she ever felt like doing it. At the end everything isn't all neatly tied up so I think there should be more to come. But that is also because I love this series and I am greedy and just want more.

In the first book I really loved in Liv and Cam but after seeing what they did to Kori well I don't really like them that much anymore and when this book ended and everything wasn't wrapped up with them, I just didn't care. I blame them for Kori ending in the basement and that is just that.

Kori and Ian are by far my favorite in this series. You can see my review HERE to see all the reasons why. I was so happy to see so much of them in this 3rd book. I don't think I would have loved it as much without some Kori and Ian time.

Oath Bound was a great last installment. You see them taking down the Tower Syndicate little by little. Even though this little gang of misfits are trying to do good they really aren't making a huge difference. And when Kenley gets taken this is when things get crazy. Kris runs to the rescue and sees a girl with a yellow scarf and because of something in his journal he takes her away with him. UGH there is just too much to tell. Lets sum this up Kris and Sera's relationship blossoms from Kris's ex Seer lover saying something about a girl in a yellow scarf so when Kris sees her, he kidnaps her and BAM shit starts to happen!

The Unbound series is dark and gritty and even though there are relationships its not the center of this universe. And we all know I like my sexin' but this world is so unique and amazing that I am okay with having maybe 1 sex scene thrown in there. Its my favorite series from Vincent and I really just want MORE! Oath Bound never has a dull moment and things just get crazier and crazier with so many twists that you never see coming. I am in love with this world. If you read Urban Fantasy then you better read this series!

  1. Great review! I still need to read this one! Other than that I am totally caught up with Rachel's books! Looking forward to seeing how this one ends despite there seeming to be room for more!

    1. I'm sad she's stopping at 3 with this series. It's my favorite. I've only read the first 3 in her YA series. I plan on finishing it one day.

  2. I LOVE this series! I can't believe Vincent's only making it a trilogy. I want MORE! Great review. It's crazy how much trouble a yellow scarf can cause.

    1. haha. yellow scarves are a menace to society. And what the hell? How can she leave it off as a trilogy only. There is no reason for that at all. There is a lot more story to tell.

  4. I really enjoyed reading what seems to be the final book in this series. It was fun to see all of the previous characters again and some resolution with the Tower Syndicate. However, there were a few things I had issues with. First, the romance. I didn't really see the connection between Kris & Sera. It really did come off as Sera just searching for someone to cling to since she'd lost everyone she cared about and Kris seemed to still be hung up on Noelle.
