I am just so happy Jeaniene wrote this spin off. I love her Night Huntress series but the last few books have just not been doing it for me, but these Night Prince books have the feel like the beginning of Night Huntress did. I LOVE them. And Twice Tempted was just as amazing as Once Burned. I gobbled up this story. Its is simply unputdownable!!

Vlad is just sexy! He is arrogant and ruthless and he seems amazing in the sack! But being the prince of darkness has some draw backs, like letting the women he loves leave him because he just can't imagine someone leaving him or he can't bring himself to admit his feelings for her. And Leila just wants the man she loves to love her in return, oh and to add a toilet to his bathroom damn it! Who knew toilets could mean so much in a relationship?

When Leila leaves Vlad things really take a turn for the worse. She is being stalked by a killer, and Maximus even convinces her it might be Vlad. I thought Leila pretty gullible when she believed that. Its obvious Maximus wants Leila, I mean he straight says so I was surprised when she really believed Vlad would do something like this. But even if she thought in the end she needed Vlad's help and he was right there.

It was just awesomely good. There was so much that happened. And I think you should just read it to see what it was. Leila has a lot of near death experiences, her humanity is on the line, Vlad lets us in a little, their relationship takes a shocking twist, Leila proves to Vlad she loves him the Prince of Darkness, Vlad does something so sweet involving a toilet, the sex was crazy hot and through it all there is a traitor among them! My only complaint is that Ian was no where in this book, true he had no reason to be but I miss him.

  2. I LOVED this book. I was kind of put off by Leila believing that Vlad would do something like that to her. It was probably out of hurt that she was able to be swayed into thinking that. I think my heart just pitter-pattered thinking of Vlad...

    1. I didn't like that she was so easy to think it was him. She should have known better.

  5. This one's definitely a 5 star-er! I feel exactly the same way about these books, they're like the early Night Huntress books but with different characters. And LOL, I'd completely forgotten about the toilet thing. Love it!

  8. Ian brightens every book! He's a rogue but he's a very sexy lovable rogue! I miss him! I'll admit I put off reading the book a few days cause I loved the first one and wanted to have a decent space of time to read it without work getting in the way but I loved it and gobbled it up when I got it! I didn't like Maximus in this cause he betrayed Vlad in the worse way when he convinced Leila that Vlad would ever hurt her like that. More fool Leila for believing him, espeacially in light of the feelings he's made clear he has for her! I mean seriously, my first thought would be, 'is this a ploy to get me for yourself?'!
