Oh Mercy is back and this book was so amazing. I was in a tizzy within the first 20 pages of this book and it didn't die down to the end. If you're looking for a book that's going to take you on an emotional roller coaster, this one is it.

Since this book is new, I really don't want to give away any spoilers at all. Mercy and Adam are very newly wed and you would think that they'd get some down time but things like that don't happy very often for Mercy. Adam has disappeared and no one can find him. Someone is on the hunt for Mercy as well. And things are tense from the first chapter of this book. I know I'm being vague but this is all I can do for now.

Mercy and Adam really explore their mate bond in this book. And honestly some of the stuff that they're able to accomplish with it is absolutely amazing. They really test quite a few boundaries in this book. Adam is amazing and such a good person. It kills me that he thinks of himself as a "monster" because he's so great. Mercy is her usual bad ass self but she gets so many things thrown at her in this book. It was hard seeing her dealing with all of the craziness that she had to deal with. A few times we get some chapters from Adam's point of view which I thought was really interesting.

The ending of this book was a complete shock to me. I never saw it coming and really, we think we have everything neatly tied up and BAM! Patricia Briggs is a master of giving us exactly what we want even if we didn't know we wanted it. Everyone was involved in this one, and I really mean everyone.

This is absolutely one of my favorite series. I don't know how many of you haven't read this yet but you definitely need too. It gives you everything you want plus more. I'm already itching for the next book in this series.

  2. Yay! You loved too! You didn't have to reveal much, I totally got how much you liked it. I loved having everybody back and of course, I adore Adam and Mercy. I thought Mercy was at best in this entry.

  3. I loved this one too. I wasn't sure about how I'd feel about them being married- if it would change the dynamics of the story, but I loved it. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
