 Love or life.
Henry or their child.
The end of her family or the end of the world.
Kate must choose.

During nine months of captivity, Kate Winters has survived a jealous goddess, a vengeful Titan and a pregnancy she never asked for. Now the Queen of the Gods wants her unborn child, and Kate can't stop her--until Cronus offers a deal.

In exchange for her loyalty and devotion, the King of the Titans will spare humanity and let Kate keep her child. Yet even if Kate agrees, he'll destroy Henry, her mother and the rest of the council. And if she refuses, Cronus will tear the world apart until every last god and mortal is dead.

With the fate of everyone she loves resting on her shoulders, Kate must do the impossible: find a way to defeat the most powerful being in existence, even if it costs her everything.

Even if it costs her eternity

What an amazing conclusion to an awesome series. Its kind of bittersweet because I just want more. But I am happy at how it ended. It was touch and go there for a while and this book totally pulled us through an emotional ringer.

Kate and Henry have never had it easy. Never ever ever. But this final battle will be the worst of them all. Because now there is an innocent baby hanging in the balance and its their baby. Poor Kate had her baby snatched away as soon as he is born. And she has to fight so hard to try and get her family back. And even though sometimes it seemed she might give up she never did. But not all her choices where good ones. She has good intentions but  some seemed to cause more harm then good.

This book will seriously have you on the edge of your seat. You never know what is going to happen. I felt so bad for Kate most of this book. All she wants is her baby back but she is being played over and over again. Its hard to watch. And during the final show down not everyone makes it out alive. It was heartbreaking.

I loved this book and gobbled it up as fast as I could. This series is one of my favorites in the greek mythology theme. Its just a great read. I am sad to see it go but I sure enjoyed the ride.

  2. I just can't wait to read this one!!! Great review BTW. I read some of them on other book blogs and they all talk about the fact that Kate's whines all the time (which is true, since I read the first two books) but you didn't bring that up and/so I think the story itself give us more so we don't get bored over that fact! Anyway I I'm so in love with this series, I just don't mind, I want to read it!!!!

  3. I really like this series. I don't think Kate was to whiny in this story. Maybe she did but it wasn't so much that I took much notice. I think it was a great ending to this series.

    1. Hey its not my fault a lot of YA books have the girls ending up with the guys I don't like. That is usually why I don't like an ending. Luckily this book ended up with the couple I wanted. There really was no other way.
