A brilliantly creative debut where vampires, werewolves, and clockwork creatures roam the mist-shrouded streets of London...

When Nowhere is Safe

Most people avoid the dreaded Whitecapel district. For Honoria Todd, it's the last safe haven. But at what price?

Blade is known as the master of the rookeries--no one dares cross him. It's been said he faced down the Echelon's army single-handedly, that ever since being infected by the blood-craving he's been quicker, stronger, and almost immortal.

When Honoria shows up at his door, his tenuous control comes close to snapping. She's so...innocent. He doesn't see her backbone of steel--or that she could be the very salvation he's been seeking.

This is one of those books I seen on netgalley but I just wasn't too sure about it. I didn't request it because I thought it wasn't going to be for me. Then I kept seeing blogger friends of mine that loved it and Christen at Goldilox and the Three Weres recommended it so I was like okay lets see what this is all about. AND HOLY MACARONI! I freaking loved loved loved it!!! It is going down on my list of favorite books of the year!  As soon as I opened the book I was hooked. I stayed up until 3am reading this and it was so worth the 4 hrs I got of sleep because of it.

Kiss of Steel was exactly what I needed. It feels like its been a while since a book has wowed me. I mean there are books by authors or in series I have already read that wowed me but no newbies in a few months and this was just that. I loved the world the characters and every single thing about it. It was unique and beautifully written. Its historical, paranormal, romantic, steampunk and amazing!!

I don't even feel like telling you about this book. Because you can honestly read the blurb or the many reviews out there about it. I just want to gush and bask in the awesomeness of my newly found read. If you could see me you would totally see that I am in post reading bliss right now.

I am off to go author stalking and see when I can expect more books from this series. Trust me if you want an awesome read pick of Kiss of Steel.
