So without Further Ado Please WelcomeAnna From Book Lovin' Mamas
- Welcome to Awesomesauce please tell us a little about you and your blog?
I’m Anna, the other half of Book Lovin’ Mamas. I’m 29 and I live in Texas, born and raised and I plan to die here too. You’ve met Fran, my blog partner and #1 PIC (partner in crime) who I met years ago on a little mommy message board, so you know we came together to share our love for reading on our blog. But first and foremost I’m a stay at home mom to two crazy energetic kiddos (girl – 6 & boy – 3) and loving wife to my best friend/high school sweetheart. We’ve been together for almost 14 years now, married for 6 and I’ve never been happier. I’ve never had an actual ‘job’ but I was a nanny for two different families after High School until I got pregnant and then married in 2006. I’d like to say I’m an exciting person with tons of things to do but mostly I stay home taking care of my house and my family and when I’m not doing that, well I’m reading of course.
- First book you fell in love with?
Ok, don’t laugh, everyone does when I answer this question. I was a huge V.C. Andrews fan. I’ve read every one of the books written before the year 2000. LOL But it was Heaven, book #1 of her Casteel series that really made me fall in love with reading. I don’t know why, I just really loved that book. It’s gritty and heart breaking but it’s also a beautiful story when you break it all down.
- If you could pick a book character to be stuck on a deserted island with, who would you pick and why?
Oh, hard question because if I had the choice I would surround myself with all of my favorite alpha male heroes but it I had to pick one character I’d have to choose Natches Mackay from Lora Leigh’s Nauti Dreams. He’s so dreamy with that southern accent, kick-your-ass attitude and wounded soul and he treats his woman REAL good, if you know what I mean. Being stuck on a deserted island with him would be no hardship what so ever! ;)
Follow my husband and make sure we have plenty of guns and ammo. We joke all of the time that we’re already prepared what with being from the south (Texas) so we already have the guns and the smarts to survive. And my husband is like a Texas survivor man. He could find us the food, shelter and safety we need because we have a lot of places to hide here in the Lone Star State.
- Top 5 authors you want to meet?
Another hard one but my choices would be…
Karen Marie Moning
Stephenie Meyer (Need to add it’s NOT because of Twilight. I love her aliens much more and I’m ready for a new one)
- If you won the lottery, what's the first selfish thing you would do or buy?
I would buy every single book on my wish list and start my own personal Romance only library.
- If you were stuck on a deserted island tell us what 3 things you'd bring in each category
Drinks- fresh water, sweet southern tea and Dr. Pepper
Books- My kindle full of books and my hardcover copies of Dreamfever and Shadowfever
Miscellaneous Items- iPhone (assuming I could charge it), laptop and my blanket
Movies- Catch and Release, Signs and Tangled. I know, weird choices. LOL
Food- pizza (again assuming I could cook it), Pringles and chocolate. I could survive forever with just those three foods. LOL
CDs- Queen Greatest Hits, The Eagles Greatest hits and my Amon Amarth, With Oden on Our Side album
- Doc Brown pulled up with his time machine and said he would take you to any time in the future or past anywhere you wanted, where would you pick and why?
I’d be completely selfish and go back to when I was a kid so I could spend some more time with my Nonie (my great grandma). I miss her more than I ever thought it possible to miss someone. She passed away about 4 years ago, but I’d want to be with her when she could do things physically so we could relive all of our fun times.
Tiger Shifters. They’re soft and cuddly in a huge scary kind of way and specifically because of Rhyannon Byrd’s character Aiden, whom is a tiger shifter. I want one just like him.
TV Show – Game of Thrones (can I get a Hell Yeah for that sexy Barbarian?)
Color - Purple
Movie – Catch and Release
Game – Fable, all of them
Holiday - Christmas
Season - Spring
Guilty Pleasure - Chocolate
That was super fun! Thank you for inviting us to be a part of this!
