A simple mission becomes a fight for survival in this fantastic instalment in the Her Angel series.

A guardian angel dedicated to his duty, Marcus will do whatever Heaven asks of him, but even his loyalty has its limits. When his superior orders him to gain Amelia’s trust through seduction, Marcus starts to question his mission and his feelings for the beautiful woman he has watched over since her birth.
Amelia has gone from one bad relationship to another, so when a gorgeous guy moves in next door looking like Mr Right, she hopes he doesn’t turn out to be another black knight in disguise. But there’s more to Marcus than meets the eye, and when he rescues her from three demonic men, Amelia is thrust into his nightmarish world—a world where God and the Devil exist, and only one angel can save her from death—Marcus, the angel she’s falling in love with.

On the run from demonic angels and the Devil himself, aided by Marcus’s angel friends and their amazing women, fighting for survival against the odds, Marcus and Amelia discover a love that will last forever.

A love so strong it will shake Heaven and Hell.

This is the first book in Her Angel series, I read and yes its the forth. I hardly ever read books out of order but Felicity told me that it would be okay and she was totally right never once did I feel like I didn't know what was going on or confused or anything like that. So I am telling you, I think you can read these in any order you want.

Anyways I have read Felicity's Vampire Erotic Theater series and so I was kind of expecting lots and lots of steamy steamy sex and this book didn't have as much. But when we did get to these characters getting frisky it was well worth the wait and Felicity always knows how to give us one steamy must take a cold shower good time.

While reading this book I kinda thought I had it all figured out. Guardian Angel falls for mortal he saves her from death then he falls from heaven to be with her. Its what you would think would happen, but holy crapola that is not even near where she went with this story. It took a major twist and just kept the twisting up and I was totally shocked at how everything played out.

Her Guardian Angel is an extremely awesome Angel book. I loved the world, I loved the roles the Angels played, the role Hell had and even Heaven. Although after reading this and many other Angel books I don't think being an Angel would ever be something I would want to be.

I am definitely going back to the first 3 books and getting to know more about these sexy angels!!

  1. Sounds a lot like City of Angels.

  2. Haha I did the exact same thing! I read this one first even though it's the fourth book. Great review, as usual! :)

  3. Thanks for the awesome review! The real story in the series kicks off in this book. I like to think of the first three, which were novellas, as scene setters and a way of introducing some of the characters who weren't the central focus of the main arc.

Although, man, I should've written a novel for Apollyon because women go nuts for him (they should go nuts for Veiron because he's the bad boy)
