Born the only female in an all male race, Jessica McClain isn’t just different—she’s feared.
After living under the radar for the last twenty-six years, Jessica is thrust unexpectedly into her first change, a full ten years late. She wakes up and finds she’s in the middle of a storm. Now that she’s become the only female full-blooded werewolf in town, the supernatural world is already clamoring to take a bite out of her and her new Pack must rise up and protect her.
You really should read the prequel Blooded before you start this book. It gives you that much needed background info and you really get a better understanding of Jessica and her situation.
I loved this book. It started out with a bang and totally kept me going the whole book through. I loved Jessica and all the characters, her best friend, her brother, her father and James. Oh yes I loved me some James!! I loved the way the pack worked even though I thought a few of them were just douche bags. I really loved this book.
Jessica being the only female wolf is not an easy thing. They try to keep her shift a secret but once word gets out everyone wants a piece of her. But being the only female werewolf isn't even all of her problems. Its that "something else" that is going to cause a big fuss. Now she has vampires and witches after her, and hey she even made an enemy with a Goddess.
The only thing that I wasn't totally happy with is something I can not tell you or else I would drop a big spoiler. GRRR its hard. But I wanted more James play time and now I don't think we will ever get it...... Moving on before I really do tell you.
Full Blooded is sure to be a hit in the Urban Fantasy World! Its a great story with some kick ass characters. The ending leaves you desperate to get your hands on the next book!
