Pleasure is their ultimate weapon . . .

Runa Wagner never meant to fall in love with the sexy stranger who seemed to know her every deepest desire. But she couldn't resist the unbelievable passion that burned between them, a passion that died when she discovered his betrayal and found herself forever changed. Now, determined to make Shade pay for the transformation that haunts her, Runa searches for him, only to be taken prisoner by his darkest enemy.

A Seminus Demon with a love-curse that threatens him with eternal torment, Shade hoped he'd seen the last of Runa and her irresistible charm. But when he wakes up in a dank dungeon chained next to an enraged and mysteriously powerful Runa, he realizes that her effect on him is more dangerous than ever.

As their captor casts a spell that bonds them as lifemates, Shade and Runa must fight for their lives and their hearts-or succumb to a madman's evil plans.

I didn't think it was possible but I actually like this book better than the first. I find that I don't like books where there is any lag in the story. I just can't pay attention but this definitely grabs your attention and it keeps it. Shade is demon with so many strikes against him that it's ridiculous. He's a demon, not only that but a demon that people, women fear. He's has a love curse placed on him. Not too mention his psycho brother is on the hunt for him. So when he gets paired up with an old lover of his while being held captive by said psycho brother, things take a turn for the worse.

Runa and Shade were forced together. Granted she was coming to find him anyhow. But the reason why I think I like this book so much is that they try to fight their feelings for one another. They don't want to be together, even though they really do. But Shade is fighting off a curse, Runa is trying to keep her entanglement with the military from him. Plus Shade's brothers really want Runa dead. AND Roag is really trying to kill both of them and he's not kidding. So it's not that they just don't want to be together that's causing issues, it's literally everything.

This book has everything you could want all kinds of paranormal issues, hot and I mean HOT sex, and a leading duo that do everything right...welll, kinda wrong. But you get my drift. Such a great series. Such a great book.

  1. I loved this book too. plus it has werewolves. you know how I love them.

  2. I still love my vamps, don't get me wrong. But I'm starting to see the appeal of the weres too! I feel like a traitor!
