All werewolf packs need a sexual outlet. For south Florida’s Red Wolf pack, the sexy, liberated and infertile werewolf Lorena is it.

Not your average Were, Lorena satisfies the males like no other wolf can. But as much as she enjoys her role as pack mistress, she longs for something she’s never had. A mate she can call her own…

Lorena isn't taking no for an answer in this installment. She wants answers and she's determined to get them. She confronts Jack, the pack leader, which doesn't go as far as she wants it too. Jack tries to seduce her but instead of her feeling hot and ready for some action, she is extremely tense and basically scared of him. Jack knows that she's been talking to someone but Lorena isn't shelling out the information he wants either. After someone burns down Lorena's house, she takes off. And has a run in with R.W. This time, she gets the answers she was searching for, only now she's not so certain she wants them.

I have never been afraid of Jack until this book. I've never thought that he would actually do anything to Lorena to hurt her but now I'm not so sure. We don't know who burnt her house down but it seriously ticks me off. It was probably the ones who want her out of the pack. Which I don't understand that either, they made her pack mistress, they are the ones who made her what she is and now they don't like it? And she's getting all the hate because of it. Either way, it ticks me off and I need to know what happens next!

  1. This sounds like a nice, short, werewolf read and right up my alley. Thanks for the review!

  2. This is a really good story. My only complaint would be that they are so short. I understand why she's doing it this way but I'm too impatient.
