Series: A Jessica McClain Novella
Publication Date: April 11, 2012
Pages: 66
 Reviewer: Amber I.
 Rating:Photobucket

Jessica McClain was born the only female in an all male race. The only problem is-she's no wolf. Called a curse, a witch and the Daughter of Evil by the superstitious wolves, Jessica decides to fight for her freedom, at age nineteen, the only way she can-in the ring.
When she's brutally attacked right after her fight, is it enough to finally earn her freedom off Compound, or will she be forced to endure the hatred even longer .

If you are like me and eagerly waiting for Amanda Carlson's debut book Full Blooded then grabbing the novella Blooded will give a glimpse into this new world and get you to know more about Jessica. But it will also leave you wanting more and dying to get your hands on Full Blooded!

Blooded shows us the life of Jessica before Full Blooded ( I have not read that book so I don't know anything about it really) Her life in the pack is pretty rough being born female and not turning into a wolf not to mention a story that she will be the one to end all wolves, well it doesn't make the pack warm up to her. Most in fact want to kill her. She has to constintley fight or be rescued by her twin brother. All she really wants to do is leave and go live amongst the humans but her Alpha Father doesn't want her to.

Its a great start to what I am sure is going to be one amazing series. I just wish I had Full Blooded in my hands now! Jessica already has a personality I love and I am excited to see her in a full length novel.
