Attacked by a wolf while hiking in the mountains, Anna Avery's life just got a little hairier. Living in the Big Horn mountains in Wyoming, with a group of werewolves who are more animal than human, Anna must try to hold onto her human side. It's not easy when the alpha continues to persuade her into his bed, while another wolf is chomping at the bit to become her mate. To top it all off, dead bodies are showing up and it just so happens that Anna was the last to see them alive. She'll have to work to prove her innocence and taming the wolf who bites first and asks questions never.

This was a great book. I love werewolves so of coarse I was jumping on the chance to read Taming the Wolf. It has lots of twists, one had my jaw dropping only to add another twist to the scene and it was sexy and mysterious and all about my furry creatures that I love so much.

I liked how Anna was feisty and she just didn't do what was expected of her or bow down to the other wolves. She was a newbie and there for on the bottom of the ranking chain. Add to that she is a women and there are only so many of them in this pack and there are lots and lots of guys. She could let her wolf side take over and give in to her animalistic lust but she holds to her human side and doesn't want to go down like that.

Oh and well Adam was hot. The minute I seen him I was drooling over him myself. I think my only problem with him was he went to this forbidden fruit to declaring his love to fast. I would have liked to see more build up with his feelings. Not that it totally worked out for him right away, like I said Anna is feisty oh and there is that little problem of him already having a mate.

The only problem (well the biggest one is) is that someone is killing humans, and Anna is dreaming of the crime. She either has to some how prove its not her or go down for the murders that she is not really sure she has committed.

I loved how we got to see so much of the animal side of things and the inner workings of the pack. If you love werewolves and love a quick and sexy read then you should totally check out Taming The Wolf.
