The last thing Dawson Black expected was Bethany Williams. As a Luxen, an alien life form on Earth, human girls are…well, fun. But since the Luxen have to keep their true identities a secret, falling for one would be insane.
Dangerous. Tempting. Undeniable.
Bethany can’t deny the immediate connection between her and Dawson. And even though boys aren’t a complication she wants, she can’t stay away from him. Still, whenever they lock eyes, she’s drawn in.
Captivated. Lured. Loved.
Dawson is keeping a secret that will change her existence...and put her life in jeopardy. But even he can’t stop risking everything for one human girl. Or from a fate that is as unavoidable as love itself.
I am so glad to get to know Dawson's and Bethany's side of the story. They had such a loving and beautiful relationship and just to see how it ended breaks my heart. I was actually tearing up in the end. I want them to somehow get a happily ever after. I think I like Bethany more then Katy. She didn't put Dawson through all the crap Katy did. (I read Onyx already so maybe this is why I see it like this) I am also so surprised that Daemon would ever risk being with human after what happened to his brother.
Sorry back to the book.
This is definitely something to read for any Lux fans. We have always heard about Dawson but to see what happened and how it happened is great. But since we all know how it ends its heart breaking to watch these two fall for another. Dawson is definitely a more gentle side of Daemon (unless you mess with someone he loves) and Bethany is just so likeable. She is strong and loving and I am still just so sad at what happened to them.
I don't want to give anything away but you really should read this. We get to see the bond between the Black family and seeing how they all just balanced each other out. I can't believe what happened. I want Dawson and Bethany back and whole.
Anyways sorry for my not really a review-- review. But you should just go check this book out!
