Dirty Little Secret

Dirty Little Secret is a weekly meme hosted by Under the Covers. Every Thursday we get to know other bloggers and our readers more intimately by asking them a question hoping to reveal their dirty little secrets.

If you could read one book again for the first time,
which one would you pick and why?

Amber I--- Night Huntress series. Okay I will pick one Halfway to the Grave. I read this book all alone. Before I knew about goodreads or blogs or anything. It took me months and months to get my friends to read it. I would love to experience it for the first time and have people to talk about it with. It was one of my first adult books. Not my first but one of them. And I would have loved it. Now when I see people reading it for the first time, I am jealous as crap!!  I am also very possessive of it too.

Amber R---I would probably read the Harry Potter books again. They were such a love affair for me. I laughed, I cried, I was happy, sad, excited, shocked, scared. It was pure agony waiting for the next book to come out. And then for the next movie. I'll never forget those books.

  2. Both great answers.

Amber R: I loved reading during high school then when I graduated I stopped. It wasn't until I started babysitting my mom's friends kids that I was introduced to the world of Harry Potter and I was bitten with the reading bug again. Rowling's fantastic world of Magic reignited the love for reading I had been almost forgotten about.

Amber I: As you know I just started the Night Huntress series a few days ago. I am SO in LOVE with this series! I love Cat and I am infatuated with Bones right now. He's consumed my mind, body and soul. LOL!

LOL. Halfway to the Grave is fantastic!

Harry potter is a great choice too. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is my favorite. Granted it would be hell to go through Serius dying again. :'(

  9. both are such great choices. If I could read Harry Potter again without knowing what happened that would be amazing. That process of discovery is the best!
I haven't read all of Night Huntress yet, only the first one! I can't wait to read the rest.

  14. I heard great things about Night Huntress and read the first Harry Potter. I have the others just need to get to them. Too many books, not enough time as usual.

  15. Pff.. am I the only person in the world that haven't read HP?
I only saw the movies like a few months back (all of them in like 2 days or so), but it was because the last one was out already and I wanted to know what the fuss was about, LOL. I liked them and I bet the books are so much better, but I wouldn't have the patience to read them all.

    Happy midnight reading!
