A witch on the run.
A quiet little town where everything is far from normal.
A fractured witch council threatening to tear the supernatural world apart.
Life hasn't been easy for novice witch Stella but small town life seems to be agreeing with her. When a seemingly innocent girl begs for her protection, Stella is pulled into a dangerous game of unruly magic.
With bewitching friends and two super-sexy mysterious men by her side, Stella is plunged into a mystery where she must uncover dangerous secrets before she ends up paying the ultimate price.
The first book ended on such a cliff hanger, I was desperate to read the next part of this series. We pick back up with Stella becoming acclimated to living in her parents' home. She's becoming familiar with the town of Wilding and her neighbors. Her new neighbors are friendly. And she's becoming really close with them. She seems to be finally coming into her own.
Although there are still unanswered questions. She hasn't heard from Etoile or Evan. She still doesn't know if Evan is alive or not and she starts to suspect he's dead. Chyler, a young teenage witch, pops up out of the blue to plead for Stella's help. Apparently there are people who are trying to capture her and do her harm.
A definite page turner, this book was one that I didn't want to put down. I think that Stella is a great character, she's a novice witch but she's quickly getting her feet. Even though there is a love triangle, Stella keeps her cool and her head. I think she's a great character. And you easily become entranced with all of the other characters as well. A must read.
