When unworldly student Ana Steele first encountered the driven, damaged young entrepreneur Christian Grey it sparked a sensual affair that changed both their lives irrevocably. Shocked, intrigued, and ultimately repelled by Christian’s singular sexual tastes, Ana demanded a deeper commitment; determined to keep her, Christian agreed.

Now, together, they have more – love, passion, intimacy, and a world of infinite possibilities. But Ana always knew that loving her Fifty Shades would not be easy, and being together poses challenges neither of them ever anticipated. Ana must somehow learn to share Christian’s opulent lifestyle without sacrificing her own integrity, identity or independence; Christian must somehow overcome his compulsion to control, and lay to rest the horrors that blighted his past and haunt his present.

Just when it seems that together their love can conquer any obstacle, misfortune, malice and fate combine to make Ana’s worst nightmares come true. Alone and desperate, she must face down the poisoned legacy of Christian’s past.

Seductive, shocking, sad and funny, Fifty Shades Freed is the compelling final volume in the Fifty Shades trilogy.

All good things must come to an end, isn't that what they say? Well, I disagree. I have a feeling these are going to be books that I read again and again. I don't really feel like doing a true review of this book. But I did want to discuss it. So I thought I would make a list of all the reasons why I loved these books and you guys could all comment too.

Christian
  • We've all imagined him right? He's messed up, don't get me wrong. We all know he's messed up but I think there is something in everyone who reads these books that wants to rescue Christian. I know he's very controlling and powerful. However, there is still something in him that makes us all love him and want to protect him. Not to mention, he's a sexual god. Seriously, I have cotton mouth just thinking about it.
Is it bad that I considered leaving the list at that? I can't help myself, Christian is just too hot. The relationship between him and Ana just makes you want to laugh and cry and scream and ooh and aww over them almost at the same exact time.

The Sex
  • Oh my lord, the sex. I can't even. These books made me lose my ability to even. I've read some book porn in my day. Don't get me wrong. But in this book? It takes it to a whole different level. The things that Ana and Christian get into open my eyes to another world. Sometimes, a weird world but it's HOT! My skin was steaming reading these books.
There is always some kind of drama in these books. Whether it's Ana and Christian trying to figure out their relationship, people almost dying, or shocking life surprises, and of course the sex, there is always something to keep your attention in these books. There is not one dull page.

What did you guys think of these books? I'm interested to see what you guys have to say.

  1. I haven't read any of them yet, but I saw an interview with the author the other morning on the news, and think I'm going to have to check into it. I shall report back! Thanks for the review.

  2. Yes, I like what you said- there is something about Christian that just makes one want to rescue him. All the while he is trying to control everything around him, he is as vulnerable as a child in ways. This one wrapped things up, but for me the second book is still my favorite of the three.

    Thanks for sharing your wrap-up!

  3. I absolutely loved these books, addicting does not even accurately describe them for me. Oh Mr. Grey, won't you marry me? I'll even let you tie me up! lmao

They're def. not for everyone and I think you need to keep an open mind while reading and be able to understand both sides. Christian is one messed up dude but his issues are understandable and he does try throughout the book(s) to work through them and Ana is abso. perfect for him. And I really loved how much she grew after the first book. I can go on forever but I won't. LoL

Super sexy, I think everyone should at least give them a try. Great books and great review hun! :)
