Tess Jennings, now a member of the Memphis Police Department, is on her first cold case. The suspected suicide of Lizbeth Knapp ten years ago isn’t a theory her family accepts—they believe she was murdered.

But the case is only one of Tess’s worries. Ghosts are talking, and word of her abilities rapidly spreads. A dark ghost is terrifying the spirits of Memphis, and she must force the entity to cross over.

Tess doesn’t have to do this alone. Not only does she have her ghost-lover, Kipp McGowen, but the department has brought in a medium. Dane Wolfe might answer all her questions, but he also brings a world of trouble. Will Tess finally have all she’s ever wanted, or will everything she’s vowed to protect be ripped away?

 My Thoughts

Oh man Stacey Kennedy is an evil genius!! I am just speechless at what she did to me in this book! And I CAN NOT tell you! This is so hard. But my goodness, it was amazing and torture all rolled into one.

I must say that Tess learns a hell of a lot in this book. I mean she learns so so many things. Her world gets flipped upside down. Not only does she have to worry about ghosts but there is a whole new world of things out there too. She also finds out she is not exactly alone with her special abilities. (and then there are the many things I can not and will not tell you)

I am serious though, I was just freaking shocked at what Stacey did in this book, my mouth literally hit the floor. I had a moment of such hope and then it ended. It is going to be hell waiting to find out what is next for Tess and Kipp.

I love how Tess lets everyone know that even though its crazy she is in love with her ghost! Her and Kipp just have this unbelieveable connection and I all I keep thinking when reading them together is why can't you be alive! I love them soo much.

Lets not forget about the side characters. I love Zach, I mean I really really love him he seems to be such a good friend to Tess and Kipp. The whole crew at the police station I love. Then we get some newbies and lets just say I am not a fan of Dane. But the witch, her I like.

If you haven't yet go read Supernaturally Kissed! And if you have then you MUST pick up Demonically Tempted now!! Tess's world is just getting crazier by the minute, we are entering a whole new world to supernaturals. This book brought out so many emotions, I laughed, my heart broke and then I had such amazing hope. When I started it I thought I would only read a little bit then go to bed, but I was hooked and had to know what happened, and stayed up to finish it. Its a MUST READ!

Looking for a great urban fantasy, a tragic love story, great mystery,a sexy ghost, jaw dropping moments and a book that will have you flipping the pages as fast as you can? Well your wait is over go get your copy of Demonically Tempted now!

  3. I'm torn, I've never really seen a ghost though I have had a freaky experience where I'm sure my Grandfather came in to the room me and my cousin were staying in after his funeral to kiss us goodnight one last time, we were talking and then we heard a bag crackling, when we looked over the side of the bed, the plastic bag we'd dropped on the floor after getting into bed had a foot-print shape in it, so there's something out there. I loved the first book in this series and would love to win the second now, I'll admit I was put of at the blurb a little when I read it elsewhere cause I was afraid she was gonna be ditching Kipp for this new character, which would kill me as I love Kipp and like you I wish he was alive! I'm still crossing my fingers that he's in a hospital bed in a coma as a john doe somewhere and they get to be together in the physical world!

  5. Thanks for the great review and giveaway! I've been eyeing this series and now I'm definitely going to have to get book one :)

I'm too pragmatic to believe in ghosts. I believe that other *people* believe in ghosts and that they are real to them. Buuuut... there's a reasonable explanation for everything.

  6. I don't know if I believe in ghosts, but probably not since I haven't encountered any. I have it on my goodreads to read list :)

  7. I have heard too many stories of inexplicable happenings from people that I trust to not be at least open-minded.

I have the first book and need to get busy and read it. It sounds great. Thanks for the review and for the giveaway opportunity.

I added the book to GR as Sophia Rose.

  12. So Ghosts? yeah...no! I love the idea in books and fantasy, but no I don't believe in ghosts. I mean, why would anyone want to stick around here?? However, I love the show Ghost Hunters... totally cracks me up.

  13. Yes, I believe in ghosts. So you won't catch me a real haunted house. Maybe if they were like Kipp, it wouldn't be bad.

  18. I do believe in ghosts/spirits. I dont think they are quite like what everyone expects though. I more think of it as residue energy. Too many unexplainable instances for me to say no they are not.

  19. I really don't wanna believe in ghosts but I guess being scared of them means I do?
