Real Vampires Get Lucky (Glory St. Clair, #3)Real Vampires Get Lucky (Glory St. Clair #3)

When a female loan shark named Lucky is attacked and left for dead, vampire Glory St. Clair turns her into one of the undead to save her——but eternity would have been safer without her. Vamps prefer a low profile, and that's not Lucky's style. She prefers to flaunt her sexy rock-star ex-boyfriend and great shoes. Trouble is, her flamboyant behavior is not only drawing every vampire hunter within miles— it's bringing her would-be killer out of hiding, too.

My Thoughts

So Glory gets into a real problem this time. She breaks one of her cardinal rules and makes a vampire. She finds Lucky Carver in the alley behind her shop almost dead. Glory can't just let her die and she turns Lucky into a vampire. Glory and all the Austin vamps are all about blending and Lucky is not wanting to follow those rules. She's stirring up all kinds of trouble for Glory. Not that Glory doesn't have enough trouble on her own.

Jerry's mother is visiting Austin. Glory and Lady Campbell do not get along. Mainly because L.C. thinks that Glory is beneath her son. Which is ridiculous but L.C. and Mara are tight and are stirring up trouble for Jerry. It's all a scheme to try to get Jerry away from Glory. You would think after 400 years that they would learn their lesson about Jerry and Glory but they don't seem to get it.

This is another great installment of the Real Vamp series. Even though there is a lot of different stuff going on in this book, I never get lost and I like the way that everything flows together. I love working my way through this series and enjoy these books. I'm telling you that if you haven't read this series then you definitely should.

  4. This sounds like one of those fun series that you can count on for a chuckle and hopefully a little action. One thing I noticed when I hopped over to look into getting it, is the ebook is $2.00 more than the paperback. I have a personal pet peeve about publishers who do this and tend to boycott these books for that reason alone. I will keep an eye out for this series for when hopefully the publisher wises up :) Thanks for sharing about what sounds like a very fun series!
