Dreamfever (Fever, #4)Dreamfever (Fever #4)

 Review by Amber I.

They may have stolen my past, but I’ll never let them take my future.
When the walls between Man and Fae come crashing down, freeing the insatiable, immortal Unseelie from their icy prison, MacKayla Lane is caught in a deadly trap. Captured by the Fae Lord Master, she is left with no memory of who or what she is: the only sidhe-seer alive who can track the Sinsar Dubh, a book of arcane black magic that holds the key to controlling both worlds.
Clawing her way back from oblivion is only the first step Mac must take down a perilous path, from the battle-filled streets of Dublin to the treacherous politics of an ancient, secret sect, through the tangled lies of men who claim to be her allies into the illusory world of the Fae themselves, where nothing is as it seems—and Mac is forced to face a soul-shattering truth.
Who do you trust when you can’t even trust yourself?

If you have followed my reviews for the series you will know that I haven't always been the biggest fan. Well I am so done with that. After the ending of the 3rd book and with all the happens in this book, I am completely in LOVE.

If you haven't read this series, then I don't want to say too much and ruin it and if you have read it, I won't bore you with things I am sure everyone else has says. What I will say is I love this series. I can not believe some of the things that happens and how far K.M.M is willing to push us. Its a rough series and I can not wait to see how it all happens.

Warning: Make sure you have Book 5 on hand when reading this, you will NEED it!

“We fucked, Ms. Lane. Even cockroaches fuck. They eat each other, too.”

Faefever (Fever, #3)Faefever (Fever #3)

 Review by Amber I.
Mac's quest for the Sinsar Dubh takes her into the mean, shape-shifting streets of Dublin, with a suspicious cop on her tail. Forced into a dangerous triangle of alliance with V'lane, an insatiable Fae prince of lethally erotic tastes, and Jericho Barrons, a man of primal desires and untold secrets, Mac is soon locked in a battle for her body, mind, and soul.

As All Hallows Eve approaches and the city descends into chaos, as a shocking truth about the Dark Book is uncovered, not even Mac can prevent a deadly race of immortals from shattering the walls between worlds with devastating consequences.

This one was much much better!! And the ending left on such a cliffhanger I am jumping into book 4 now. Faefever had a lot more action, we didn't spend loads and loads of time in Macs head and spent more time out in the world interacting with people.

Mac is finally becoming more of a bad ass, now her humor is something I am really enjoying. I liked it before but now added with the new Mac, I love it. She isn't superficial and is molding into someone I think I will love. I still think she assumes the worst in Barrons way to fast while giving V'lane way too much credit.

I hope the next book stays on the same path the 2nd half of this book did for me. I wasn't totally happy with the first 2 books, and that still bothers me. If not for everyone insisting this series is awesome, I would not have continued it after the first book or the second book. I am glad I stuck it out, but still think a series should hook you well before book 3.

Bloodfever (Fever, #2)Bloodfever (Fever #2)

I used to think my sister and I were just two nice southern girls who'd get
married in a few years and settle down to a quiet life. Then I discovered
that Alina and I descend, not from good wholesome southern stock, but from an
ancient Celtic bloodline of powerful sidhe-seers, people who can see the Fae.
Not only can I see the terrifying otherworldly race, but I can sense the
sacred Fae relics that hold the deadliest of their magic.

When my sister was found dead in a trash-filled alley in Dublin, I came over
to get answers. Now all I want is revenge. And after everything I've learned
about myself, I know I have the power to get it....

MacKayla Lane's ordinary life underwent a complete makeover when she landed
on Ireland's shores and was plunged into a world of deadly sorcery and
ancient secrets.

In her fight to stay alive, Mac must find the Sinsar Dubh-a million-year-old
book of the blackest magic imaginable, which holds the key to power over both
the worlds of the Fae and of Man. Pursued by Fae assassins, surrounded by
mysterious figures she knows she cannot trust, Mac finds herself torn between
two deadly and irresistible men: V'lane, the insatiable Fae who can turn
sensual arousal into an obsession for any woman, and the ever-inscrutable
Jericho Barrons, a man as alluring as he is mysterious.

For centuries the shadowy realm of the Fae has coexisted with that of humans.
Now the walls between the two are coming down, and Mac is the only thing that
stands between them....

I thought this one was better then the first, but I am still not hooked. It was touch and go with me. There would be some awesome action and really interesting things going on, then we were back to just sitting in Macs head thinking too much and I would get bored.

But Mac is really growing on me. She is becoming so much more of a person I can finally like. She is toughening up. Sometimes I think she is a little too mean to Barrons or thinks the worst of him. And I don't like how she is always comparing him with V'lane. And I wish we could get to know Barrons more. Right now I am not attached to him because there is not much to go on. He doesn't have much of a personality to me yet.

So I do like these books, I am just not in love yet. I hoping to get there, then maybe I will come back to these reviews and yell at myself!

River Marked (Mercedes Thompson, #6)

River Marked (Mercedes Thompson #6)

Hardcover, 326 pages
Published March 1st 2011 by Ace Hardcover

Car mechanic Mercy Thompson has always known there was something different about her, and not just the way she can make a VW engine sit up and beg. Mercy is a shapeshifter, a talent she inherited from her long-gone father. She’s never known any others of her kind. Until now.

An evil is stirring in the depths of the Columbia River—one that her father’s people may know something about. And to have any hope of surviving, Mercy and her mate, the Alpha werewolf Adam, will need their help.

Mercy is just a natural bad ass! She has to be in the top 5 bad ass girls of all times. And wherever Mercy goes whether at a camp ground on her honeymoon, or a Walmart changing room, trouble always always finds her. But now she will forever have her sexy alpha werewolf by her side.

Can I just say I loved seeing these two have so much time together. I loved seeing them so open how they felt for one another. While I know they were getting it on, I would have loved some details.hahaha. I am a smut-aholic and while this book was smut free it was still awesome. So that must tell you how much I liked it.

This was another book with me full of a lot of emotions, Mercy and Adam were so funny together they made me laugh a lot. The action was intense. There was quite a few sad moments one that made my heart stop was when Mercy, Adam and Coyote were on the river and the monster was trying to make a deal for her life for some others and then it actually killed those people. If you have read this or when you do you will know what I am talking about.

We see some of our old characters we love, Stefan, Warren, Jesse, and Kyle just to name a few. We meet lots too and get to know some cool things about Mercys native american side.

Favorite Parts:

- The Surprise Wedding. (just how it all came to be and how people placed bets.)
- Seeing Adam and Mercy playful and all in love.
- Watching the wolves step it up and help take care of Stefan
- Meeting Coyote

If you haven't read any Mercy books then you must go back to the beginning to really enjoy the ride. This series is worth it. A great great Urban Fantasy.

“Wolves eat coyotes," Gordon said
If he weren't an old man, I had some rude things I could have said to that.
"Yes," observed Adam blandly. "I do."
Yep. That was the one that came to mind.

“Feeling scared yet? Want to go somewhere safe?"
"It won't help, will it? We'd just run into Godzilla or the Vampire from Hell. Trouble just follows you around."
"Hey, Trouble. Let's find out what your mysterious Indian wanted us to know.”

A growl came from deep within him and I had the pleasure of seeing his head fall back in ecstasy. I took him into my mouth and sucked until he tickled the back of my throat. Slowly, so slowly, I retreated, nipping and swirling my tongue around him along the way until my lips reached the delicate tip of him again. I let my tongue play and taste, and then without warning took him down as far as I could go. I delighted in the way he throbbed and pulsed inside me while animalistic moans came from deep within his own body. In that moment, he was mine.
Mine to tease, mine to torment, mine to pleasure.

Shadowed Soul Review

Shadowed Soul (1 Night Stand, #41)Shadowed Soul (1 Night Stand #41)

Four months have passed since Ellie’s heart was broken by her cheating boyfriend, Gerrid. Sick of mourning, she sets out in search of a man to make her forget. Madame Eve of 1Night Stand arranges for Ellie to meet just the man at Nocturnal Nightclub in Miami. Bryce is not only sexy as sin but full of mystery. He does things no man should be capable of. Ellie might question his fast speed, cold hands, and even the way he bites at her skin―if he wasn’t so determined to awaken the part of her that’s been buried by lies.

Days have passed since Bryce’s last feeding and his vampire hungers demand to be sated. But feeding is not his only intention. Ellie seeks to be a different woman, to gain power for herself, and Bryce plans to push her to discover it. To show her she can do things she never thought possible and force her to see the strength she yearns for already lives inside of her.

Ellie will have to choose, expose all of herself, or remain hidden in the dark shadows. But Bryce will have to make a choice of his own—let her go or keep Ellie forever?

My Thoughts

I don't know why but vampires have always been my favorite supe. So once I started reading this book I was excited that Bryce was a vampire and a sexy one at that. This is another great book of Stacey's 1NightStand novellas. Ellie is a girl that had her heart broken by a tool of a guy. She's still licking her wounds. She signs up with Madame Eve to just have a good time.

I don't know how Stacey does it but you would thing that in a book that you can read in 3o minutes that you wouldn't be able to get a good feel for the characters but you really do. I felt so bad for Ellie. That kind of heartbreak sucks. I know most of us have been there. Of course Bryce was a vamp with a heart of gold. He's trying to help Ellie heal her broken heart.

This is a sexy, sexy book. Stacey gives us a novella with some heart and soul and a whole lotta heat. If you're looking for a quick, sexy read then any of the 1NightStand stories are something that you should definitely check out.

Shadowed Soul Book Tour and Giveaway

Tuesday, October 25, 2011

Today we are super excited to have Stacey Kennedy with us! Please read her Guest Post and more about Shadowed Soul and enter to win it!! Trust me you will love it. See my Review HERE

And Now Here is Stacey:

The journey from romance to erotic romance!

When I first started reading, I loved mystery and suspense novels, which held zero romance in them. Reading my first romance had come as a total fluke. I had picked up a Lisa Jackson novel from a small bookstore around my town that had been placed in the non-romance section.
Let me tell you, when I read the story my eyes seriously bulged out of my head when I came to one of the sex scenes. Clearly, I wasn’t expecting it so it came as a shock. But that story wetted my appetite for more. I had no idea at the time, which was many years ago, I could have mystery, suspense, and sex—all in one book. And once I discovered that…I was taken a step further and was introduced to paranormal romance. Where I could have all of those things, but also included sexy vampires too.
Now, I rarely read a story that doesn’t have a paranormal element to it. What can I say? I love my mythical men. About a year ago is when all of this took another step when I read my first paranormal erotic romance. Let’s just say, my cheeks blushed for hours after reading it. But slowly, I got more daring with what I read and lately, I’ve read some of the hottest stories that I honestly couldn’t talk about aloud. Well, except to my girlfriends. *grins*
It’s not much of a surprise that this is the exact process that happened to me with writing. Each story I wrote, I got more daring and allowed the characters to get a little naughtier. I can admit, that with my latest release, SHADOWED SOUL, I didn’t hold back one bit and totally intended for the characters be as naughty as they wanted. And they certainly exceeded my expectations.
If you want to see just how daring I went, leave a comment with your email to be entered to win a copy of SHADOWED SOUL.
Also, come find me on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/AuthorStaceyKennedy) and Twitter (http://twitter.com/#!/Stacey_Kennedy). I love to chat!!

Four months have passed since Ellie’s heart was broken by her cheating boyfriend, Gerrid. Sick of mourning, she sets out in search of one thing, a man to make her forget. Madame Eve, a matchmaker, arranges for Ellie to meet just the man at Nocturnal Nightclub in Miami. Bryce is not only sexy as sin, but full of mystery. He does things no man should be capable of. Ellie might question his fast speed, cold hands, and even the way he bites at her skin―if he wasn’t so determined to awaken the part of her that’s been buried by lies.

*m/f, anal, voyeurism, masturbation.

Ellie scanned the dance floor, searching for the man matching the picture Madame Eve had emailed her. Instead, she got a few heated glances from guys she wouldn’t touch on her worst days. So, instead of continuing to search, she lingered taking a seat upon a stool, listening to the bartender and Kenna talk dirty nothings to each other. Why isn’t he here?
After she downed her second Cosmo, goose bumps pimpled on the back of her neck, and she glanced over her shoulder to discover her date standing against the back wall. His gaze focused on one person, her.
“Oooo...my night is looking up,” she exclaimed.
Kenna didn’t respond, too busy playing googly eyes with the bartender. Ellie jabbed an elbow into her side. She hissed as she rubbed her ribs. “Ow, what?”
“He’s here. I’m going to dance.” She gestured behind her and grinned to show her intentions.
Kenna peeked over her shoulder before focusing back on Ellie and giving a shit-eating grin. “Have fun.”
Ellie slid off the stool, keeping her focus on the stranger. His mere presence screamed sex. Much taller than her five-foot-five frame—around six-two—but built like a brick shit house. His muscular arms were crossed over his chest, his broad shoulders tempting her and she couldn’t wait to run her hands over them tonight.
Putting a little oomph into her step, she made her way onto the dance floor. The loud techno song washed over her and the vibrations were strong against her feet. Her kinda music—hard and dirty.
Staying at the edge of the crowd, she found her beat and moved with the rhythm. Twirling, she ran her hands along her torso and did anything and everything to gain his attention.
To all appearances, her plan worked.
He dropped his arms to his side and stepped forward. His sparkling blue eyes, short, fashionably-styled black hair, and chiseled features warmed her right down to her toes. Her heart raced. Her insecurities drifted away. The world around her ceased to exist, leaving only him and her.
Wetness pooled in her panties. His nostrils flared and his heated gaze burned deeper. He approached and as he settled in front of her, he grabbed her lower back and yanked her against his hard body. Her head tilted back and he leaned down, cupped her nape and kissed her.
A kiss not meant for strangers―not meant as a sweet hello. No, a promise he would pleasure her and she sang a big thank you, Jesus for bringing him to her. No thoughts. No regrets. Just two sweaty bodies going at it until exhaustion set in.

Stacey Kennedy’s novels are lighthearted fantasy with heart squeezing, thigh-clenching romance, and even give a good chuckle every now and again. But within the stories you’ll find fast paced action, life threatening moments and a big bad villain that needs to be destroyed. Her urban fantasy/paranormal and erotic romance series have hit Amazon Kindle and All Romance Ebooks Bestseller lists. If she isn’t plugging away at her next novel, tending to her two little ones, she’s got her nose deep in a good book. She lives in Ontario, Canada with her husband.
Be sure to drop her a line at www.staceykennedy.com, she loves to hear from her readers.

Your browser may not support display of this image. A boy and girl dig each other and start a relationship – the oldest story ever. A trend in YA novels is to complicate things with a triangle ala Edward-Bela-Jacob, or Gale-Katniss-Peeta. The Apocalypse Gene also features a paranormal romance, but with a twist . . . what would happen between a boy and girl if lying was impossible?
Everyone tells lies ranging from small and well-meaning (your best friend shows up in a new pair of jeans that add ten pounds to her hips and thighs, and you say “you look amazing”) to serious (a bloody knife in your hand, a corpse on the floor - “It wasn’t me!”).
New relationships can be weird enough, but what if you had the paranormal ability to ALWAYS KNOW when someone was lying? Even more complicated, what if the person you liked had a similar ability? Deceit would be possible. Something like that happens in The Apocalypse Gene.
It’s a time of global pandemic. Olivya Wright-Ono, a girl with aura-sight, sees emotions as colors and interprets their meaning with deep, unfailing intuition. For her, it’s not a gift. She spends a lot of energy trying not to See. Things are depressing enough with ordinary senses. As Olivya puts it, she “doesn’t need the psychic jazz to jack her up even more.”

Because of her ability, Olivya has always been lonely. Most kids hide their true feelings until they trust someone, but Olivya always knows exactly how someone feels, and when they lie, she calls them on it. She has zero tolerance for bull. As a result, she’s been isolated and alone because of her so-called gift.

Mikah is an elite Empath in a clan of demon hybrids called The Kindred. He can feel the emotions of others. His talent allows him to mold those emotions, even manufacture new ones. He is a master manipulator, and his subjects are always unaware – that is, until he meets Olivya. He can’t pull off that Empath stuff with her. She sees the colors of deception as soon as they rise in his aura. If Mikah lies, there it is - a sharp lime green, the color of deceit, as clear as his beautiful violet eyes.
They’re attracted to each other and those feelings, immediate and pure, are clear to each of them. Olivya sees that Mikah likes her, that he’s fascinated by her and excited. Mikah feels Olivya’s nervousness, interest, and instant affection.

The usual games just won’t work. You know the ones I’m talking about, the little things you do to avoid risking embarrassment or rejection. Olivya can’t pretend to be aloof and uninterested in order to encourage Mikah to try harder. Mikah can’t put on a show of false confidence to impress Olivya with his awesome coolness. No deception, however well intentioned, is possible. That makes for a quick and honest bond between them. (Of course, there’s a complication with that -something odd about Mikah’s aura - but anything more specific would be a spoiler.)

At one point, Olivya says something (can’t say what – again spoiler) that Mikah finds annoying. He shows his irritation, Olivya feels like an ass. Mikah tries to back-pedal to make her feel better.  Here’s the excerpt.

“I didn't mean to upset you. I'm sorry,” Mikah said.
“I'm not upset. Not at all. It's just that, I don't know, you're so weird. This was a mistake. It's all too freaked out. I'm not sure I can take this on - take you on.”
“Your words say one thing, Olivya, but your emotions read as something quite different.” Mikah tapped his chest. “Empath. Remember?”
At first, she bristled at his smug comment. Then she realized something. Kids always resented her because they couldn't hide a lie from her, or pretend in her presence. That made them feel uncomfortable, embarrassed, exactly as Mikah had just made her feel. She’d always blamed her loneliness on others. Now she understood. All along, she’d been lonely by her own doing. When she pointed out their bullshit and cover-ups, they ran from her. “Yeah.” she said. “I totally get it.”
“Because,” Mikah said, “I, umm, I think you're, oh never mind. It's not important.”
“Don't bother with the never mind, and it is important.” Olivya tapped her forehead. “Sighted. Remember?”
Mikah offered a sheepish grin. “Yeah. I get it.”
“Looks like the usual boy-girl games ain't gonna cut it, huh?” she said.

Book 1

Luck of the Devil by Patricia Elmer

This book was awesome! It was so fun! You have an amazing set of characters. The Devil, God, Jesus, Demons, Succubus, Angels. And they are all freaking funny. This is honestly a book I did not expect to like, I thought it was going to be over the top.. But I was so so so wrong!! You will not be sorry if you try it! Take my advice and give it a try!

Book 2
Blood of the Demon by Rosalie Lario

Another awesome book. I have read the 2 in this series that are out and they are fantastic! They kinda remind me of the BDB books. Each book tells the story of another brother falling in love. All the brothers are sexy, they all have the same dad but each a different mom with a different supernatural race. And so far each one has some good ol' fashion sex scenes!!!

Lover Unleashed

Lover Unleashed (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #9)Lover Unleashed (Black Dagger Brotherhood #9)

Payne, twin sister of Vishous, is cut from the same dark, warrior cloth as her brother: A fighter by nature, and a maverick when it comes to the traditional role of Chosen females, there is no place for her on the Far Side… and no role for her on the front lines of the war, either. When she suffers a paralyzing injury, human surgeon Dr. Manuel Manello is called in to treat her as only he can- and he soon gets sucked into her dangerous, secret world. Although he never before believed in things that go bump in the night- like vampires- he finds himself more than willing to be seduced by the powerful female who marks both his body and his soul.
As the two find so much more than an erotic connection, the human and vampire worlds collide … just as a centuries old score catches up with Payne and puts both her love and her life in deadly jeopardy.

I really enjoyed this book, I wasn't in love but I liked it. I thought Manny and Payne where a great couple. I would have liked to see their relationship blossoming more, it didn't happen for most of the book and when it did, it was a little rushed. Also I wasn't thrilled with always being shuffled to so many different POV's. It made the story especially the beginning drag a little.

Honestly the book was more of V's and Jane's story then Manny's and Paynes. I was happy to see V get where he needed to be, but a lot of the time I was really upset with him. He just seemed so cruel and my heart was breaking for Jane most of the time. Like I said I am glad he got what he needed but the things he put Jane through seemed so unfair.

The book also didn't ooze sex. I think the hottest sex scene was with Xcor and Thore (I think that is his name) and the hooker. It was nothing to the story line but it was pretty hot. And obviously we are introduced to some new characters.

I am actually really excited to see Blay and Qhuinn get together. I always seen so many people on the B and Q kick but I was never a huge huge fan. Then there is Qhuinns dream, that I really want to know the meaning of.

Obviously if you are a BDB fan you are going to want to read this. Was it the best of the series? No, but still a good read!

This Weeks AwesomeSauce being interviewed is

Stuck in Books

*Now for the Interview*

A lot of times in books the girl has to choose Between 2 guys, is there a book that you totally did not agree with her choice. Tell us who, and why.
So I know that the series isn't over and we don't know for sure but it seems pretty clear that Calla will pick Shay in the Nightshade series.  I so think she should pick Ren.  Their relationship is so much more intense and dare I say HOT.  Not the common thought, I know, but I just love Ren more.

Where do you get your books from, buy them (where from), library, or somewhere else?
Everywhere! I buy way too many of them. I'm an Amazon girl.  I check out from two different library systems.  I win some in giveaways.  Authors and publishers send me books to read.  If there's a source for books, I will find it.

What is the last book you read that you totally fell in love with?
I had this happen just recently.  I'd been reading a lot of ummm just okay books and really needed a good one.  While talking with friends on twitter, it was suggested that Carrier of the Mark should move up my TBR list.  I had won it from the author's blog so I picked it up that night.  Messed up my reading schedule but I'm so glad I did.  Anyway, it was FABULOUS.  It's one of those stories that's just perfectly my taste. =)

If you could meet an author alive or dead who would it be and what would you say?
I'd rather have a nice long list of authors as friends on twitter!  But if I must choose, J.K. Rowlings.

If you could go on a girls night out with any 5 book characters who would you pick and why?
Only interested if some of them can be boys too but I guess that defeats the purpose of a girls night out.  Clary from Mortal Instrucments, Alex from Half-Blood, Meagan from Iron Fey series, Megan from Carrier of the Mark and Rose from VA.

A book world you would love to live in?
I'm thinking Cassandra Clare's Shadowhunter world.  I think I could be happy in either time period.  I'd want to be an instructor in an institute.  I love the ruins and the protecting the world stuff.  Of course I would want to be friends with a few characters just cause I LOVE them so much. (Cough Jace and Will).  That conflict must be why I can't decide which time period. heehee

You have no books at all to read and you really want to read, what book are you going to grab from your stash and do a reread?
I really like to reread before a new one in a series comes out.  But once in a while, a book I love calls to me from the shelf.  I think it's because of how that book makes me feel.  This always happens when I'm having a bad day or struggling with something.  Books are my therapy.  So it really depends but right now I'd say Half-Blood by Jennifer L Armentrout.  I've wanted to reread it for a while and I've already read it three times!

Your bookshelf is on fire and you can only take what you can carry, what are you grabbing?
Oh my!  I think I would be crying as I grabbed my Cassandra Clare books and my Harry Potter books.  If there's time, I'm also getting the Twilight series. =)

Your best friend asked you for a book recommendation, what book would you pick for them?
This happens a lot for me.  I'm a teacher. (I teach math - not reading. Go figure.)  But I have a shelf of books in my classroom and once students figure out my passion, which doesn't take too long, I'm off to recommend books.  I also have other teachers who come to me for recommendations.  I've kind of learned their tastes so my answers have a lot to do with them.  The last teacher I recommended to wanted a stand along fabulous book so I recommended The Near Witch by Victotia Schwab.  The last student I recommended for is a huge Greek Myth girl, and she had just finished Starcrossed by  Josephine Angeline.  She loved that so I lent her
The Carrier of the Mark by Feigh Fallon.

What book are you anxiously waiting to read?
Oh this one is easy.  I am so excited about Clockwork Prince and City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare so bad.  I can't wait to read them.

What book are you currently reading?
Currently reading the books from Harper Teen's Dark Days tour.  Still have Supernaturally and Fateful to go.  Just finished Eve.

If you could pair up 2 characters from different books who would you pair up?
How about Simon, a vampire from the Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare, and Angelique, the witch from Spellbound by Cara Lynn Schultz.  They would be perfect for each other.  Simon can't figure out his love life in his current home and Angelique is bold enough to go for him.  Perfect pair!

Where is your favorite reading spot?
I have a snuggle chair in my office.  It's big enough for two which means my dachshunds can join me.  I have pandora set up to play in there.  It's my spot.

More About Valerie:

Hi. My name is Valerie and I'm a math teacher who loves to read.  I spend my life hanging out with teenagers and have developed a love for their books.  I love to read and share that passion.  There are books in my math classroom, and I don't mean math books. =)  I pick up books off of student desks all the time to see what they are reading.  I love to talk to them about it.  Last year, I started having students come in at lunch just to have a place to read.  I enjoy sharing that passion with them  Hope you enjoy my blog.
