Real Vampires Live Large (Glory St. Clair #2)
It's not easy to keep a boyfriend, run a business, and survive for centuries as one of the immortal undead. Glory St. Clair knows-ever since a sexy Scottish vampire bit her while she was a tad...bloated. But when a frustrated vampire hunter firebombs her vintage clothing boutique, she's ready to pitch a fit. Then her long-time, part-time lover takes off in a rage to hunt the hunter and prove himself worthy of her. And that's only the beginning of her troubles.
The Energy Vampires want her-and not in a good way. They're paranormal drug dealers, selling thrills to those who've lived for ages, been everywhere, and done everything...and they want to suck Glory dry. But it'll take more than a few super-suckers to get the goods out of her.
I seriously can not get enough of these books. Glory is hilarious. Blade is hot. All of the other characters are amazing. Flo, Cici, Richard, Freddy, Derek, Valdez.. all of the other characters really take the spotlight even though Glory is the main character. And she's never without trouble. We've got Westwood still after her in this one and we've got the EV's.
The EV's are energy vampires who steal energy from vampires. And Glory has been storing up energy for a long, long time. She hardly has used any of her powers over the years. We all know Glory likes to blend in with the mortals. Blade is off hunting Westwood a lot in this book. However, we have some hot moments with Blade even though he's not there we see some interesting moments where vampire power is explored. Richard, Flo's ex, is there trying to help Glory with the EV's.
There are some unexpected things that happen in this book. Something strange is going on with Flo. Valdez has some issues in this book. I know a lot of you have been hip to this series for a long time but I still don't want to give anything away. The Valdez thing seriously had me tearing up. I loved this book. If you guys haven't read it yet, you definitely should
