Obviously I can not do December, I will fill it in after December though.

Worst Books:
This will be hard for me, we all know how  I am about not liking books. Instead of saying these books were horrible I will just say it had things I did agree with.

Iron Crowned by Richelle Mead- Oh Eugenie you really pissed me off like a crazy person!
Awakened by PC Cast- I just feel they are totally dragging these books out!
Ascend by Amanda Hocking- I was really unhappy at who the girl ended up with
One Grave at a Time- Now I liked this book. I like all the books I've mentioned but this was missing something besides lack of sex. It just wasn't like the old Cat and Bones. It was more of a filler book to me.
Supernaturally by Kiersten White- This was also missing something for me. Still good.
Okay that is all I can Obviously there were some books I just didn't care for but I am not that mean so I choose books from series I liked but wasn't really happy with parts of the specific book.

Amber R's Picks:

I can't do mine like Amber's. First of all, she obviously has some crazy OCD. Just kidding. So mine is going to be a little different. I'm going to just go by book and tell you why I liked it or why I didn't.

The Jolie Wilkins series by H.P. Mallory: I loved all of these books. They were so good. There wasn't one thing that I didn't not like about them. I can't wait for the next one to come out.

The Dulcie O'Neill series by H.P. Mallory: Again, nothing I didn't love. Can not wait for the next book.

Last Breath by Rachel Caine: Such a shocking book. I did not see hardly any of it coming. My mind was racing through the whole thing. Such a great book this year.

Fever series by Karen Marie Moning: I read this entire series in less than a week. Probably one of my favorite series of all time. Definitely goes on the best list.

Drink Deep by Chloe Neill: Amazing. Ethan's back. All is well in the world. Perfection.

Luck of the Devil by Patricia Elmer: I thought this book was hilarious. So many hijinks.

Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R. Ward: All of you BDB fans are going to hate me after this. But I really didn't like these books. I could not get into them and I tried several times. I don't know what it is.. just not a fan. Sorry! Don't hate me!

One Grave at a Time by Jeaniene Frost: Loved it! Amber I. didn't but she knows nothing. ;)

Vampire Relationship Guide Series by Evelyn Lafont: Super cute and funny.

Awakened by P.C. Cast: Is it wrong that I'm just over the HON books? They've been drug out and I'm almost at that point where I don't even want to read the rest. I probably will just because I want to know what happens. But I'm over them. Zoey needs to get it together.

Dead Reckoning by Charlaine Harris: I liked it but it felt like a filler to me.

Iron Crowned by Richelle Mead: This book made me so mad, so mad!

Okay these are my picks! I hope no one is too mad at me!

  1. I agree on the HON books, now that they have gone into multi POV I just can't stand them. I don't think I will be buying the latest one anytime soon.

Also with Amber R on Dead Reckoning by Charlaine Harris, it was just "meh" nothing really spectacular happened in it.

  2. I think the last few HON books have been crazily dragged out. Like I think we went through 3 books and the story that took place in all 3 were only a week in the characters time.

Also I haven't even read the last Sookie book. I wasn't impressed with the last book and after seeing everyone say that they didn't enjoy it I decided to wait. Those books are always so expensive. They are the most expensive hard backs I buy and I am too cheap to do that for a book that is just okay.

  3. I am fairly new to paranormal so I am not up to speed on a lot of these series that you ladies speak of, but I enjoy seeing what you think about them and look forward to being able to form my own opinion and seeing what you mean.

I have read the Cat and Bones series and am reading One Grave at a Time now. It has shown no 'pop' yet so you may be right.

I completely agree about the Charlaine Harris book. I keep reading them because I feel like something big is coming soon that will shock my socks off.

    Thanks for the post!

  4. I added a ton of books to my TBR list from this post, thank you so much for this! :)
