Today's Reader Interview is a blogger who needs no introduction she is one we all know and love......

*Now for the Interview*

A lot of times in books the girl has to choose between 2 guys, is there a book that you totally did not agree with her choice. Tell us who, and why.
I always, always go for the bad boy for some reason.
I was rooting for Gale the entire time… {The Hunger Games}

Where do you get your books from, buy them (where from), library, or somewhere else?
Wide variety of places of course. I get a lot of book for review so my book buying has gone waaay down. I will support authors that I love and purchase their books, even if it is just to sit on my shelf. The last book I purchased was directly from the publisher and it was JA Saare's The Renfield Syndrome. I also like to purchase tons of Kindle books and finding a great Kindle freebie is like finding money on the ground!

What is the last book you read that you totally fell in love with?
LEGEND by Marie Lu

If you could meet an author alive or dead who would it be and what would you say?
It was Orson Scott Card and I did get to meet him. He is definitely my rock star. I was a total dork and just walked up to him {after standing in line for an hour} and said "You are my hero. Ender defined my teenage years." Then I blushed like a school girl and ran off. Second would be Edgar Allan Poe and I think he would be awesome to just sit around in a dark bar and drink with.

If you could go on a girls night out with any 5 book characters who would you pick and why?
Girls night? The books I read - that might be scary. Kitty from Gini Koch's ALIEN series, I think she would be a hoot. Might as well invite Simi from Sherrilyn Kenyon's series along - as long as she doesn't eat anyone. Rachel Morgan from the Kim Harrison's The Hollow's series might be fun and Kelley Armstrong has some great characters so I'll finish up in her series and invite
Elena and Savannah.

A book world you would love to live in?
I'm a vampire nut, so life in Charlain Harris' Sookie Stackhouse universe might be pretty fun. I would totally visit Fangtasia.

You have no books at all to read and you really want to read, what book are you going to grab from your stash and do a reread?
I want to reread THE HUNGER GAMES trilogy again and again.

Is there a book you think is amazing, yet not a lot of other people do or its just not very popular. (if so tell us about it)
I think DB Reynolds has an awesome series that starts with a book called RAPHAEL. It is a great paranormal romance series that involves vampires. It's on par with books like The Black Dagger Brotherhood or Night Huntress series books. I think it isn't as popular because people aren't quite as aware of it. It has some great vamps, some really tough heroines…shouldn't pass it up.

What is the first book you fell in love with?
THE ISLAND OF THE BLUE DOPHIN

Your bookshelf is on fire and you can only take what you can carry, what are you grabbing?
That is too hard and stresses me out just thinking about it…I can't do it. I would go for my signed copies first I guess.

Your best friend asked you for a book recommendation, what book would you pick for them?
THE HUNGER GAMES - I'm pushing it big time for people right now.

A book that made you cry?
Susan Beth Pfeffer's Last Survivors series turned me into an emotional mess, especially the last one, THIS WORLD WE LIVE IN. I cried throughout that entire books. Great big sobbing mess.

What book are you anxiously waiting to read?
The next Razorland (Ann Aguirre)

What book are you currently reading?
Devilishly Hot by Kathy Love

If you could trade places for the day with any book character who would you pick?
Cat from the Night Huntress series -- purely because of her husband
(don't tell my husband).

You have to fight in an epic battle to save the world, what 5 characters are you picking?
Speaking of Bones, he is definitely on my team. Might as well bring his wife along for the ride. Another couple I would want to my save the world team, Jericho Z. Barrons and Mac. The fifth wheel is tough -- alright, Dorian from Richelle Mead's Dark Swan series.

How many books do you own?
I have no idea. Four bookshelves and I still have stacks on the floor - counting would be the first step to admitting I have a problem - and I DO NOT HAVE A PROBLEM. ;)

Favorite book cover?
I know this is silly, but I really like the TWILIGHT covers - they are so simple and different but beautiful. They did a good job with those covers.

If you could pair up 2 characters from different books who would you pair up?
Ender Wiggin needs an epic young adult romance, I think I shall push Peeta out of the way and hook him up with Katniss - they can battle together.

Where is your favorite reading spot?
I'm simple, the sofa.

  1. I love the Hunger Games and I was so mad that they did not end up together. Peeta just did not seem like the right choice.

    Great Interview, Thanks Again!!

  5. Thank you so much for having me Amber my sweets! And all that formatting, the interview looks so pretty. I did manage to reread THG series - and I was more sympathetic to Peeta this time around because of knowing the outcome. It was definitely worth rereading.
