********************************

*AND NOW FOR THE READER BEHIND THE AUTHOR:*

A lot of times in books the girl has to choose between 2 guys, is there a book that you totally did not agree with her choice. Tell us who, and why.
Yes, although many may disagree with me lol. I didn't think Rose should have chosen Dimitri in the Vampire Academy series. I just didn't think their love was as strong as the writer made it out to be. I personally was a fan of Adrian and was rooting for him.

Where do you get your books from, buy them (where from), library, or somewhere else?
I buy all of my books from Barnes & Noble, mainly because i own a Nook. Sometimes if i've trying to buy a complete series and there are a lot of books, then i'll check ebay for deals.

What is the last book you read that you totally fell in love with?
I first began writing because i had an addiction to books and wanted to create my own stories. However, since i became an author, now i don't have too much time to read. I think i've only read a total of 4 books this year, sad i know = (   One of the new books i've read this year was Afterlight by Elle Jasper and i loved it. The main character is tough and i love that in a lead character. A series i will forever love is the Sookie Stackhouse series and the Night Huntress Series.

If you could meet an author alive or dead who would it be and what would you say?
Interesting question. I don't know actually. I think it would be cool to meet  Jane Austen. I would ask Ms. Austen what it felt like to write in a world where women weren't taken seriously or accepted as well as author's who were men. She wrote classics that are still being read today when everyone back then told her she couldn't.
I find that amazing.

If you could go on a girls night out with any 5 book characters who would you pick and why?
Fun question! Riley Poe (Afterlight) Cat Crawford (Night Huntress series) Mercy Thompson (MT series) Gwen Sparks of course, and Riley Jenson (Riley Jenson Guardian Series) Because their all mature tough woman who know what they want.

A book world you would love to live in?
Hmmm, they all are a little scary. I love reading about vampires and werewolves but i might be a little freaked out if i met one lol. If i have to choose though, i'd say the Sookie series because I'd love to meet Eric Northman and her world has everything, vampires,
werewolves, fairies, and witches.

You have no books at all to read and you really want to read, what book are you going to grab from your stash and do a reread?
The 2 series i've reread multiple times is Sookie series, Night Huntress Series, and Real Vampire series, any of those would do

Is there a book you think is amazing, yet not a lot of other people do or its just not very popular. (if so tell us about it)
I really enjoyed the WVMP Radio Series by Jeri Smith-Ready. It's about vampires who are stuck in the era they were changed. I thought it was very unique but i'm not sure if a lot of people have read it or not.

What is the first book you fell in love with?
I'm a newbie to the reading world. I used to hate reading! I couldn't ever find a book that caught my attention. I used to read R.L Stien's Goosebump books but i grew tired of those and gave up on reading. It wasn't until Twilight came out that i picked it up out of curiosity and fell in love with reading. The Twilight series was the spark that ignited my book addiction. I'll always remember the Twilight books but i have moved on from sparkly fangless vampires and now prefer
vampires to be more ruthless.

Your bookshelf is on fire and you can only take what you can carry, what are you grabbing?
I love all of my books, i only keep ones that i love, so i'd just grab as many as i could, and then cry over the ones that were destroyed lol

Your best friend asked you for a book recommendation, what book would you pick for them?
My sister just recently started reading. She never read before i wrote Craved and when her little sister was published she showed her support by reading my book. She loved it so much that she wanted to read more. So i recommended the Night Huntress series to her and she's loving them so far. I'm excited that through reading my book, she found a love of books. Best compliment I've ever gotten.

A book that made you cry?
I was just talking about this subject with my writer's group. I only remember 1 book making me cry and that was one of the House of Night series when Stevie Rae died. My cheeks are burning for sharing that piece of information with you guys. When i first began reading, i read a lot of YA books and was so engrossed. I was like a baby who was just discovering the written world so i had strong
feelings towards the books i read then.

What book are you anxiously waiting to read?
I have a ton i want to read, my bookshelf is quickly filling up with books i haven't read yet. As a writer, i feel guilty reading other people's stories when i know i should be writing my own. I can't pick just one because i have at least 7 that i can't wait to read.

What book are you currently reading?
Natural Selection by Elizabeth Sharp

If you could trade places for the day with any book character who would you pick?
Sookie Stackhouse, only because i think it would be cool
to hear people's thoughts

You have to fight in an epic battle to save the world, what 5 characters are you picking?
Cat & Bones, Eric Northman, Rose Hathaway, and Gin Blanco

How many books do you own?
last time i counted, i had 240 but i've bought more since then.
I love buying books = )

 Favorite book cover?
I love the covers for Fallen series and there's a new book coming out called, Everneath, that I absolutely love the cover

If you could pair up 2 characters from different books who would you pair up?
I'm completely stumped on this one lol

Where is your favorite reading spot?
cuddled up on my couch

About Stephanie:
Picture Hi
I'm a simple girl from Illinois where i live with my wonderful husband. A lot of people ask me if i always wanted to be a writer. The truth is, i hated reading when i was younger. I would occasionally read Goosebump books by R.L Stein but even those couldn't hold my interest for very long. Aside from writing notebooks full of poems, i disliked everything written. It wasn't until i picked up Twilight by Stephenie Meyer that i understood how someone could fall in love with a book. The Twilight sage ignited my love of books that quickly grew into an addiction. Before i had owned maybe two books, and now i own over 200. I have since moved on from sparkly fangless vampires but i will always be thankful to Mrs. Meyer for writing such an incredible series and instilling in me a love of books.

    5. I liked all the questions you asked...The only thing I agreed on though was that I liked The Fallen covers also. They're beautiful covers. As for living in which world and a girls night out. I would have picked so differently but then again my list would have been endless. I read so much and fall for all the characters it's just ridiculous. Thanks for the chance to win her book. I think it sounds like a good read =)

    11. I most agreed with the "bookshelf on fire" answer. I only keep the books I love so I'd be in the same boat-trying to grab as many as possible. Those I don't love I donate to the library so someone else has the chance to love them.

      Thanks for the giveaway!

    13. Shane was great in the WVMP series! I agree it probably had something to do with his 90's era and the mention of him looking like Kurt Cobain lol The fact that he played guitar didn't hurt either = )
