Succubus Revealed Succubus Revealed (Georgina Kincaid #6)

In Georgina Kincaid, succubus and she-demon, #1 New York Times bestselling author Richelle Mead has created one of her most enticing characters. But with a shot at love, and maybe even redemption, is the ultimate seductress finally going soft? Like hell she is. . .
Georgina Kincaid has had an eternity to figure out the opposite sex, but sometimes they still surprise her. Take Seth Mortensen. The man has risked his soul to become Georgina's boyfriend. Still, with Lucifer for a boss, Georgina can't just hang up her killer heels and settle down to domestic bliss. In fact, she's being forced to transfer operations. . .to Las Vegas.
The City of Sin is a dream gig for a succubus, but Georgina's allies are suspicious. Why are the powers-that-be so eager to get her away from Seattle—and from Seth? Georgina is one of Hell's most valuable assets, but if there's any way out of the succubus business she plans to take it—no matter how much roadkill she leaves behind. She just hopes the casualties won't include the one man she's risking everything for. . .

Amber I's Thoughts

I am so so sad to this series ending. I started the first book a year or two ago and I have been in love with it ever since. I have recommended it all my friends who in turn loved it. I knew no matter what happened in this book it would have a bitter sweet ending for me, and holy crap it did! I am completely depressed its all over!

Obviously Georgina is a horrible succubus. She just cared to much and had to good of a heart to belong to Hell. I knew she had dreams of becoming human and having a baby and living a nice life happily ever after with Seth. This was not my plan though. So I am a little sad it didn't go the way I wanted. I am a huge huge Roman fan. Yes I know Seth and Georgina have this incredible incredible past (if you haven't read this book yet then you are going to see what I am talking about)But I think Roman could have been her future. I loved her life and friends and, well Roman, and I didn't want her to lose it. Plus I think its a little extreme to become mortal again, I mean can a vampire become mortal if his contract is messed up? And my poor ROMAN! I cried at his last scene. Why Roman?? He was a totally amazing man and I really wish he could have had a happily ever after.

Even with all that, I still loved the book. Carter was amazing, I have loved him for so long and I wasn't that surprised to see he had a bigger role then we had thought. He is the coolest angel ever! The bowling team was funny. Seth's family was so much fun and heart breaking. I am so glad we got a lot of the normal stuff even in the last book and it wasn't all based on her getting out of her contract. It made the book that much more real and it much more sad to see it go.

If you have not checked out this series, its A TOTAL MUST! Its one of my favorite series, each book is amazing! You will not be disappointed at all.

*** Adding some notes.. So we all knew how it would end. We all came up with the same conclusion pretty easily. And well we were right. And this bothers me. There was no twist or no wow I did not see that coming. It just played out the way everyone thought. At least how I thought. It was a really great book and everyone but me is happy, so don't totally listen to me. I was just hoping for some twist turner. I had this whole thing in my head while I was reading it, how it should go. And its awesome. But I am really trying not to ruin it for you all. So if you want to know what I think should have happened let me know. I will tell you!! ***

A nice touching moment from Roman!

"Because Carter is not your only fan." When I looked back up I saw Roman's green eyes were deadly serious. "You're a remarkable woman, just by you're own nature. Smart. Funny. Compassionate. But what's really great is that you're so easy to underestimate. I did when we first met, you know. And Hell is now. No matter what their reaction to your appeal is, I guarantee most of them doubt you have a chance. You're going to prove them wrong. You're going to break the unbreakable. And I'll be right there helping you, as much as I can."

Amber R's Thoughts

I'd like to first of all point out that Amber and I predicted this book from the beginning. Tooting our horns. Lol. There were some definite surprises and things that I didn't expect.

I was seriously sad by the fifth page. I was so sad because Georgina wasn't at the bookstore anymore. She just loved working that job so much and she just was promoted, I felt so bad for her. I understand the reasons why she decided to leave but still. I didn't expect the transfer to happen. Things started to seem fishy to my from that point. I think we all realized something was going on with Georgina's contract in Succubus Dreams but obviously things with that progressed above and beyond.

I really like Georgina's weekend in Vegas though. I started to feel some hope during that time that things might turn out differently for her. But when she was in Vegas it was nice to see her to be able to have fun. It was almost like a vacation before all the walls came crumbling down. I kind of had it in my head that Seth was her husband reincarnated, I honestly didn't think he was all of the guys though. I also never imagined that there were two contracts or that Seth would react that way. I felt really bad for Georgina, especially since she tried so hard to be a good person. Also, Andrea's whole situation was heartbreaking. I felt so bad for all of them, including her girls. And then to find out a demon was making her worse? I was horrified.

In the end, I was really okay with the way it ended. I expected Georgina and Seth to end up together. I'm glad they did though. It was like final closure to centuries of a never ending story. I think that both Seth and Georgina deserved to end up together and happy. I was also extremely happy that Georgina got her little girl too. I really liked how the wrapped up the story with Carter. I knew that he had some bigger part in her life. Although, I was really horribly heartbroken about Roman.

All in all, I really loved this book. I literally couldn't put it down. Sorry this review is so long but I just finished it and it's super fresh in my mind. Also, I've been waiting for this and I was so excited with the ending of the series. It's all so bittersweet but I loved every word.

  1. PS this cover is AWFUL!! I mean she has hazel eyes not blue and well she totally does not look like that!! Who the hell made these covers?

  2. Oh my god! I cannot wait to get this now *hyperventilates*. The UK cover (The one Australia will also be getting) also has blue eyes. It's sad when the covers aren't right.

  3. I'm very curious to read this book, It sounds really great, thanks for the review

  4. The covers really bother me. I am not a fan of most covers. I do find I like a lot of UK covers so much better. I am also sick of them just putting models on the cover. Especially when they look nothing like the character. I mean this one is a big mistake, the eyes. I mean the look is all wrong but the EYES!

I hope I didn't spoil this book for anyone. I have problems, just so we all know.haha

  5. Okay, I was all set to read the reviews, but saw the spoiler warning and decided to forgo it. Still haven't gotten my copy yet since I ordered it from Richelle's store and am not sure when it will ship since her baby came last week. Hoping she got to sign those before he came, I really want to read it and not have to buy 2 copies.

    ugh, the torment of waiting...

  6. I STILL need to read this series, I know right - get with it already. This looks like an awesome series
