From Goodreads
Evie finally has the normal life she’s always longed for. But she’s shocked to discover that being ordinary can be . . . kind of boring. Just when Evie starts to long for her days at the International Paranormal Containment Agency, she’s given a chance to work for them again. Desperate for a break from all the normalcy, she agrees.
But as one disastrous mission leads to another, Evie starts to wonder if she made the right choice. And when Evie’s faerie ex-boyfriend Reth appears with devastating revelations about her past, she discovers that there’s a battle brewing between the faerie courts that could throw the whole supernatural world into chaos. The prize in question? Evie herself.
So much for normal.

~Amber I's Thoughts~

I loved Paranormalcy and I liked Supernaturally. There just didn't seem to much of a story here. We would get moments where I thought it was about to take off then we would go right back to Evie complaining about something.I found myself looking forward to the end. She was just missing that fun spunk she had in the first one. We would get times where that fun, pink, locker loving girl would surface but then she would go back to this new Evie over thinking things and being sad.

She finally got a normal life but she soon realizes normal isn't everything its cracked up to be. She starts lying to Lend and doing things behind his back. This bothered me a lot. I think she could have been honest.

I still love the story and the world Kiersten as built for us. This is just that middle story and I can not wait to read the next book.

QUOTE FROM BOOK:

"If they could see her hollowed out tree trunk of a back, complete with tail, they'd probably feel different.
Then again, you never know with guys.
And she was a pretty hot tree."

~Amber R's Thoughts~

So Evie is out in the normal world in this one. She soon comes to realize things aren't always greener on the other side. She's having issues telling Lend the 100% truth about certain things, he's away at school all the time, Arianna is acting as weird as ever, and there's a new boy at the center, Jack, who's causing all kinds of problems. Not to mention Evie is having vivid dreams with Vivian involved.

Evie is working in cahoots with Jack because he's a human boy who was the ability to walk the faerie path. Since Evie won't work with the faeries she's stuck with Jack and he gets her involved with some pretty interesting situations. Jack seems like a happy go lucky kid but he has more in common with Evie than she wants to realize.

I think this book was a good merger from Paranormalcy to Endlessly. I think Evie learned a lot in this book and maybe some things she didn't want to know. I can't wait to see how things turn out in the last one!

Teaser Time

"Something we both have in common, then, besides the world's most perfect hair color. We were both raised by no one and live nowhere."

  3. I really thought it was good. It was a good second book. I feel like a lot of times in trilogies, the second book usually lacks but I thought this one was pretty good.
