Tolkien.  For sure.  Or maybe Lloyd Alexander.

The Bloody Chamber: And Other StoriesWhen I used to take the subways to work I read so many books on my commute--about 150 a year.

The Blue Sword, Winter Rose, anything by Angela Carter, anything by Tolkien.

Dumbledore from Harry Potter!  Or maybe Dobby

Thanks so much Carolyn for taking the time to do the interview!! I really enjoyed Once a Witch and Always a Witch. And I would so save Dobby too. That was so sad when he died.  If you guys haven't please go and check them out!!

  1. I'm totally with you on saving Dumbledore and Dobby... I think I cried more for the loss of the little guy though. Sooo sad!

  2. Thank you so much for sharing with us today. I absolutely refuse to think of Dobby, his loss just makes me cry :)

  3. Dobby dying was so horrible. Dumbledore was bad but Dobby had that childlike character in him and it made it so much harder.

Thanks for the comments!! I appreciate it. You 2 have been awesome!!
