From Goodreads

When Dana is invited to Faerie to be officially presented at the Seelie Court, it’s no easy decision. After all, everyone knows Titania, the Seelie Queen, wants her dead. But Titania claims not to be the one behind the death threats; and her son, Prince Henry, makes the decision a whole lot easier when he suggests Dana might be arrested for (supposedly) conspiring with her aunt Grace to usurp the Seelie throne. So she and her father better do as they're told…
The journey through Faerie is long – and treacherous. Dana thought it would be a good idea to have friends along, but her sort-of-boyfriend Ethan and her bodyguard’s son, Keane, just can’t seem to get along, and Kimber’s crush on Keane isn’t making things any easier. When a violent attack separates Dana from their caravan, the sexy Erlking saves her just in the nick of time… and makes it clear that he hasn’t given up on making her his own.
Arriving at Titania’s beautiful palace should be a relief. But Dana is soon implicated in an assassination attempt against Titania’s niece, and is suddenly a fugitive, forced to leave her father behind as she and her friends flee for her lives. Will she be able to prove her innocence before the forces of the Seelie Court catch up with her? Or, worse, the Erlking? And will she save her father before he pays the ultimate price in her stead?

My Thoughts

This was another great book in the Faeriewalker series. It does start off a little slow, maybe slow is too harsh maybe calm I would say is more fitting. But once the action starts it doesn't stop!!!

We finally get to go to Faerie. The journey there is pretty crazy. It is suppose to be a safe passage but things don't turn out so good. Then when they get to the palace things go from bad to extremely bad!! Dana and her friends find themselves on the run for their lives!! And in this journey Dana finds all her secrets slipping out and risking all her most precious relationships. And then we get a nice surprising twist that can change everything.

I always feel so much for Dana. Her life is extremely hard. Her alcoholic mother really makes me connect with her as being in a similar situation. Knowing there is nothing you can do but stand by.

I love how she really will stop at nothing to protect those close to her. She would risk her life to save them. She isn't overly stupid with her actions to help either.
(you know the girls who risk those stupid situations and have no way out but to get rescued? this is NOT her)

I am not sure if this is the end of the series but they way it left off I think it could be. Even though I would hate to see it go it left off in a way I felt completely satisfied. I love how everyone that I wanted together ends up together. The one thing I would love is to get inside the Erklings head. He fascinates me. You can never tell if he is a good guy or bad. There is just something about the way he is that makes me want to see more!

Great Great Series!! If you haven't checked it out then you really need to!! Jenna has created one of my most favorite faerie books ever!! Its fun, nicely detailed romantic scenes (leave me alone I am weird), action, great relationships, characters you can connect to, heart ache and a magical world uniquely its own!!
