READER BEHIND THE AUTHOR PRESENTS----- H.P Mallory
~H.P. Mallory~
Bestselling Author of Urban Fantasy & Paranormal Romance Books
Welcome to the world of Paranormal Romance and Urban Fantasy!
I'm H.P. Mallory (H.P. for short) and I'm also an urban fantasy and paranormal romance author. So far, I've written four books, two in the Jolie Wilkins series (Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble and Toil and Trouble) and two in the Dulcie O'Neil series (To Kill A Warlock and A Tale of Two Goblins). And both series span paranormal romance and urban fantasy genres.
So, why should you read my books? Hopefully you like urban fantasy and paranormal romance because if you don't, I don't have much to offer. Sorry! If, on the other hand, you're all about fairies and witches and vampires (oh my!), you love a good alpha warlock and you like men who get a little hairy during a full moon, I got the goods.
First off, I can promise my books are unique--you won't have read a story like them. Second, I tried to make them funny--none of that super serious, dramatic soap opera stuff--okay, there's a bit of that but it isn't lame, I promise! And third, they're sexy and come on, who doesn't like a sexy book?

We all know my LOVE for HP, her books are AMAZING!!

She will be writing a novella in the Jolie series which will be available in December, 2011. It will be about the story behind Rand's century-long dislike for Sinjin!

The next Dulcie book will be available in Summer, 2011 and the fourth Dulcie book will be available in Winter, 2011.

Some of H.P's INTERESTS
*My interests are varied but aside from writing, I'm most excited about traveling. Uncovering new places and learning about different cultures is pretty incredible. I feel extremely fortunate to have been able to live abroad--what an amazing experience!

As far as favorite authors, I'm a definite Jane Austen fan. Pride and Prejudice is my favorite book and the BBC miniseries is my favorite movie. As far as urban fantasy books are concerned, my new favorite paranormal romance series is the Fever Series by Karen Marie Moning*

  1. Wow, loved the feature and I love Jane Austen as well, Pride and Prejudice is also my favourite (though I do love Mansfield Park as well and Northanger Abbey!) I also favour the BBC commission of Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth as Mr.Darcy, no other adaption compares to it in my eyes! I look forward to the next 'Reader behind the author' installment!

  6. So.. I have strayed away from my more adult books.. mostly just because of my blog focusing on YA. But I really want to get back into it! I love that you showcased a non ya author and I look forward to checking her out! Though I have to say... my opinions vary on a few things! Ereader over physical book!? NO WAY haha Great feature. look forward to reading more :D
