From Goodreads

Aura’s life is anything but easy. Her boyfriend, Logan, died, and his slides between ghost and shade have left her reeling. Aura knows he needs her now more than ever. She loves Logan, but she can’t deny her connection with the totally supportive, totally gorgeous Zachary. And she’s not sure that she wants to. Logan and Zachary will fight to be the one by her side, but Aura needs them both to uncover the mystery of her past—the mystery of the Shift.
As Aura’s search uncovers new truths, she must decide whom to trust with her secrets…and her heart.

My Thoughts

This book picks up right where Shade left off. Aura trying to find Logan and help him pass on. This time though Aura really is trying to move on. She realizes her and Logan can not be together (hes a ghost) and she does want to start living again. Which while I understood that I was totally sad about it. I kept seeing her push him away and I felt so horrible for him. He was stuck here and had to watch the people he loves move on. Sometimes it felt like he was such an inconvenience to them.
I like Zach and all but I really see him as a rebound guy. And I still do. I understand her need to have this relationship but if it ended I would not care.

I was so glad to see more of Logans family in this book. Especially Dylan, I love him. I really want Logan back.lol

The 2nd book is as good as the first. We get a lot of our unanswered questions answered. I couldn't stop reading it. I had to see what we would find out about Auras mom, and would Logan finally pass on or possibly be alive again. It was an awesome book and I can not wait to read the 3rd one.

I think this is a pretty emotional book. I know Logan needs to move on but I am not ready. I know who cares what I want but still. He is one of those characters you instantly love. He was and is so full of life. Its just really hard seeing him stuck and watching people try to move on.

Just a great series!!
