From Goodreads

DIE FOR ME is the first of three books about Kate, a sixteen-year-old American who moves to Paris after the death of her parents. It introduces a new version of the undead with revenants, beings who are fated to sacrifice themselves over and over again to save others’ lives. Kate finds herself falling for Vincent, who she discovers is not the typical French teenager he appears: he is something else entirely.

DIE FOR ME presents a new supernatural mythology presented in a city where dreams are sometimes the same as reality.

My Thoughts
I was pleasantly surprised with most of this book. I felt Amy really came up with a unique paranormal world. With all the vamp, wolf, fae, and those beings out there, it was neat to get a new one that I have never heard of.
I have seen a lot of zombie like references with this book reviews, but I would not consider what they are very zombie like at all. I really enjoyed the concept of them. It was so unique.
I loved seeing her walk around Paris and felt she described the places wonderfully. Kate and Vincent's relationship in the beginning was nicely paced. I liked seeing her not fall head over heels in love with him or over look all the flaws of what they could be.

I think it was a fun, easy YA read. I will be looking forward to the next book.
