Todays AMAZING Blogger being interviewed is LAH From Lazy Girl Reads

Lah at LazyGirl Reads has been blogging for about a year. The book blog itself began in August 2010. She originally started blogging to find her voice to write a short Middle Grade story. But her passion for reading took over and she’s been reading and blogging about it non-stop! She is in no way a professional reviewer and does it completely for fun and to make new friends!

1. What do you love most about blogging?
I LOVE talking about myself and my interests. I think I’m awesome. I have about 3 different blogs, LazyGirl Reads for my passion for books, Very Musically Yours for my operatic career & Lah-Lah Land for my general fantasticness. It’s hard to keep them all up but I’m working on a system!

2. What is the best book you have read this year? (if you can't pick one then we can go with 3)

Well I couldn’t pick one so I did two! Best two books I’ve read this year, so far, HANDS DOWN are:
The Running Man by Richard Bachman/Stephen King and Hate List by Jennifer Brown

 3. If you had to choose a book world to live in what one would you pick?

Omg NARNIA of course! But like, after/before the White Witch’s reign of chilliness, like when Aslan was around all the time. Or even when Caspian ruled.

 4. If you had to describe your blog in a tweet (140 characters or less) what would you say?

It is awesome. It is awesome. It is awesome. It is awesome. It is awesome. It is awesome. It is awesome. And pretty. Please read it. Thanks.

5. What was the first book you fell in love with?

I can’t even remember, it must’ve been when I was like 6 years old and I read that book with the bear and the moon? UPDATE: I found it! It’s called Happy Birthday, Moon by Frank Asch. I literally teared up looking at my old favorite.

6. If a person who didn't like to read asked you to pick a book to get them hooked on reading what book would you pick? (if you want to pick 3 different type of people and a book for each specific type that’s fine)

For the dystopian/sci-curious: The Giver by Lois Lowry
For lovers of urban interest: The Coldest Winter Ever by Sister Souljah
For the snarky middle grader: The Bad Beginning by Lemony Snicket
For the CSI NY lover: Run for Your Life by James Patterson & Michael Ledwidge

7. If you could meet an author alive or dead who would you meet and what would be your first question?

CS Lewis: “So, they like, all died?”

8. What are you currently Reading?
Currently reading Deeply Desperately by Heather Webber who I LOVE. She totally responded to me on FB when I was all “Omg yay Heather your books are awesome” and she was all like “Thanks!” and I was like “:-O”

9. If you could save 1 person from dying in a book who would you pick?
Okay mini-spoiler alert if you haven’t read the Harry Potter series, but, his parents, James and Lily. I know we wouldn’t have a story if they didn’t die but like, I just want Harry’s life to be normal! Every time the Dursleys treat him like crap I’m like ugh friggin Voldemort and that prophecy! Gah!

10. Have you been interviewed before, if yes how did this compare? If not what did you think of the questions?

Haha, this is a funny question only because I can’t imagine that anyone would say “Yes and THIS WAS THE WORST ONE I HAVE EVER DONE!” But my answer is: No, I haven’t been interviewed but this was Awesomesauce! It made me think about books which is always nice!

Thank you so so much! I can't wait to come to NY one day and meet you.lol. I love your blog and I LOVE your libraries. And if people have not figured out Harry's parents died well what rock are they living under. I am glad you liked the interview. I just thought I would throw that question in there to see what people would say. You're Great and I am glad I found you in this massive blogging world!!

Please go on over to Lazy Girl Reads for some fun book talking and one of my most favorite blog hops. Library Thursday Blog Hop!!
