From Goodreads

Evie’s always thought of herself as a normal teenager, even though she works for the International Paranormal Containment Agency, her ex-boyfriend is a faerie, she’s falling for a shape-shifter, and she’s the only person who can see through paranormals’ glamours.

But Evie’s about to realize that she may very well be at the center of a dark faerie prophecy promising destruction to all paranormal creatures.

So much for normal.

My Thoughts

I loved this story. It was a fun fun book. Evie has been pretty isolated her whole life. Brought up in the agency since she was 8. She is a big deal there too. She is only 16 and already out there fighting vampires and other paranormal beings. She totally believes in what she does until a new comer comes in and is in isolation. Him being the only one there her age she starts to sneek in and see him. This is when her little world unravels. She finds out she is not who she thought she was just like the agency.

Evie was just a fun loveable character. She gets excited by the smallest normal things. She watched a teenage high school show and fantasizes over the smallest things like lockers. And most girls who love the color pink tend to bother me but she was just so fun and spirited. The poor girl just wants the small things in life. I really felt for her the whole book and I loved her excitement!! She was such an enjoyable character to read!! I can not wait to read more! The whole story was just a really can't put down book.

  4. This is one of my favourite books as well. Yeah, 5 stars. High-five! :-D I love Evie. And Lend! She wants the small things in her life because she hasn't experienced that but fighting with the vampire. Poor girl. I should probably start reading Supernaturally!
