From Goodreads

Calla Tor has always known her destiny: After graduating from the Mountain School, she'll be the mate of sexy alpha wolf Ren Laroche and fight with him, side by side, ruling their pack and guarding sacred sites for the Keepers. But when she violates her masters' laws by saving a beautiful human boy out for a hike, Calla begins to question her fate, her existence, and the very essence of the world she has known. By following her heart, she might lose everything— including her own life. Is forbidden love worth the ultimate sacrifice?

My Thoughts

Wow, Andrea Cremer sure created a fantastic world. I was hooked within the first few pages. Right off we were into some good action and the book kept up with that through the whole story. It was so addictive. I loved it!! This was so beyond your typical YA books. The world here was so fascinating.

I loved Ren! I am totally team Ren. Just wanted to throw this out there.

Poor Calla was raised in a world of tradition. She is a Guardian and an Alpha. She is being mated to sexy Alpha Ren. She is strictly hands off though. In her world she must wait until her union, so no one at school will even try to think of getting close to her. But that changes when she saves Shay and the new boy obviously did not get the memo. This is when she learns her world is not exactly what she thought it was and she starts to question everything and breaking a lot of rules.

Theres lots of action some good romance and a nice look into the magical world of wolves. It gives you everything you want out a book!

5 out of 5 stars
