Since the gripping conclusion of Once A Witch, Tamsin Greene has been haunted by her grandmother's prophecy that she will soon be forced to make a crucial decision—one so terrible that it could harm her family forever. When she discovers that her enemy, Alistair Knight, went back in time to Victorian-era New York in order to destroy her family, Tamsin is forced to follow him into the past. Stranded all alone in the nineteenth century, Tamsin soon finds herself disguised as a lady's maid in the terrifying mansion of the evil Knight family, avoiding the watchful eye of the vicious matron, La Spider, and fending off the advances of Liam Knight. As time runs out, both families square off in a thrilling display of magic. And to her horror, Tamsin finally understands the nature of her fateful choice.

My Thoughts

This second book really did pull it all together. And it was really awesome. I really really enjoyed it.

I loved when she went back in time. Although I was hoping for more family time I seen the importance in this. If she fails on her mission her family no longer will exist in the future she knows. Everything is riding on her. And she really has no idea on how to do this. She only figures it out at the very end and that choice will be the hardest thing she will ever have to make.

If you read Once a Witch then you are going to love this. We find out exactly why her grandmother lied to her all those years about her talent. We also see the prophecy her grandmother made all those years ago become true.

It was such an engaging book that I read it all day until I finished it. I just had to see how she was going to pull this all off. And I was so happy to have all of our questions answered. A really Great Read.

4 out of 5 stars
