18 and over book blogger tag along is for a specific group of book bloggers. You have to primary review adult books. Yes, I know some of you still read teen and adult, so if you do both your welcome to join in. You can read any genre paranormal, suspense, historical, contemporary or mystery and of course, erotica books. And if you blog has a few extra hot male pictures, well, that’s an added bonus! LOL. So if you have a book blog like this and would like to find others please join in the tag along.

We are small in number, but we do love books and other bloggers. So please if someone follows you and leaves a comment please follow back.

I know there was not a question this week but I thought for the fun of it I would ask one. What was your first adult book? Or one of the first ones you remember and what did you think or why do you remember it?

I actually remember mine, because I read a lot of YA and really did not know the difference between the two. So I was reading   Nora Roberts Blood Brothers book and when I got to the first sex scene I was like OOOOOHHHHH this is the difference.lol Theres not that we kissed and BAM its the next day its a full on description. And well I was hooked!! :) Thats my first what is yours?

  1. Great question! My first adult book was a Historical Novel way back when I was a teen(let me tell you that was a while ago lol) but it was Janielle Taylor's Savage series oh wowsa I got hooked after that no going back to YA back then

  2. I'm trying to remember when I switched from YA to adult but I can't remember. I guess it just gradually shifted. OH WAIT, I remember now! It was Sherrilyn Kenyon's Fantasy Lover! I remember trying to hide the book because of its cover haha

  3. Just dropping by for the 18 & over tag along, I'm really new to the genre. I hope you have a great weekend!

  4. Happy Friday, hon! I distinctly remember my first adult book - I read Stephen King's Pet Semetary in Grade 5 (against the advice of parents and teachers) and never looked back.

  5. Hi there! New follower.
Please come check out my site and all the man candy!

  6. Hey! Hopping by to say hi and for the 18+ tag along. I think I had the best introduction to the Paranormal Romance and adult books. My first adult book/series was Night Huntress by Jeaniene Frost. One day I was reading some YA novel and the other... the infamous chapter 32!:)) It was... kind of surreal!:)) And of course I raised my standards after that. :D

    Have a wonderful weekend!

  7. Just stopping by to say hello and wish you a great weekend.

My first adult book was Dark Lover by J.R. Ward - totally awesome series by the way.

For FF: I totally love the Sci-fi Romance book called True Believers by Maria Zannini

  8. I think that my first "adult" book was Jackie Collins' Chances. I read it waaaaay back in the 80's when I was a young teen. I never read Young Adult stuff, even as a young adult! LOL. Have a great weekend!

  9. Thanks everyone for your comments. I love hearing about everyones first book! Its funny how we all remember them. I was like 25 when I first read it and I couldn't believe it. I had to show everyone all the details they put in it. I even made my husband read certain parts. haha I am such a nerd I know. But I never knew a book could talk like that.

  10. Newest follower here via Tag Along Friday. I am a new contemporary romance writer as well as a reader of almost anything! Hope you stop by and visit my blog.
My first adult books were Jude Deveraux and Nora Roberts. Can't remember the specific titles but I've read almost all of both their work.
And if you're looking for good sex scenes, you may want to try my first book Bronwyn's Stand. There is a scene in the shower that everyone loves!!!

  11. Hi! Just stopping by with the 18+ tag along. My first adult book was when I was 12 and it was a romance set during the Civil War with a soldier who was secretly in love with the beautiful slave of the woman he was sleeping with. I had no parental supervision at all, it seems!

    Have a wonderful weekend!
