From GoodReads

With their rotating lead characters, feisty female narrators, and absorbing mystery plotlines, Kelley Armstrong's Otherworld series (formerly called "Women of the Otherworld") novel merit even standalone scrutiny. At the center of Waking the Witch, the latest entry, is Savannah Levine, a twenty-one-year-old newbie detective whose first case appears to be a triple ritual killing. Like its predecessors, this urban fantasy combines the best features of mystery and supernatural fiction: prime time crime snooping and paranormal plot dimensions. Editor's recommendation.

My Thoughts..
4 out of 5 Stars
At first I wasn't sure if I would like a book all about Savannah. This being an adult series and us seeing Savannah as a little girl still. I know she was growing up but I always see her young and still kinda that bratty little girl.
Well I was wrong. Kelley Armstrong of coarse eased her into adulthood beautifully. She still had that Savannah spunk but a whole bunch of maturity with it. I loved her character. I couldn't put this book down. It doesn't have any love scenes (if you are looking for those) But it didn't need them. It kept you on suspense the whole time. You needed to see this to the end and fast to figure out who the killer was. There is so much mystery in here.

Her case is nothing that it was suppose to be. Its not as easy as a triple murder. After each new clue theres a whole new set of problems and suspects. Along with some supernaturals who no ones knows about and a possible witch hunter! People start dying. Luckily Adam joins her and helps out.

If you are a fan of The Otherworld books then you will enjoy this!! If you've never read them then start with Bitten!! That is one of my favorites!!!!
