Lazy Girl Reads

1. Encourage people to support their libraries when they can
2. Meet new bloggy friends and grow your following

How to participate (UPDATED):

* Create a Library Thursday post with a list, pictures or a vlog of your books. Or feature a cool picture of a library, or spotlight one of your favorite libraries.
* Grab my button if you like it and include it in your post! Make sure to shout the library out that you went to!
* Once you've created your post, link it to the linky at the bottom of Lazy Girl Reads weekly post
* Hop around to the other blogs participating and check out what other people are reading. Be sure to leave them a comment to let them know you were there, this is about making friends as well!

Each week, I will list which books I've picked up, put on hold, skimmed through at the library. It's a great way to see what other bloggers are browsing through while we are waiting for new titles to come out. And it's a blog hop! So you can make some more bloggy friends. YAY!

My Books this week are....

There are still a few to read. But it is shrinking. Sort of. lol. I just got too many at once. And it was not my fault. I was on waiting lists and they all decided to come on together. It was weird. So I have been trying to get through these for a few weeks. Almost there.

A special THANKS TO MY LIBRARY Marysville Ohio Library

My small town library, but it keeps me reading every week!

  1. Aww!!! I love that picture of your library. I also find that no matter how big or small the library, I can always walk away with a ton of books!! :)

  2. I too, get to many books and then feel pressured to read them in the alotted time.

  3. I was doing that, but I stopped because I felt guilty because I couldn't get them read. And I'd feel really guilty if I had to re request them. So, I started just requesting a few at a time. For my audio challenge, it's working great!

  4. I'm able to search and put books on hold at my library from home...it's trouble because I order a ton and then, just like you, they all come at once! Hooray for libraries though, they rock!

  5. That is how I also do it @Mrs Vincent. I request online and it tells me what place I am in for it. And when I am like 20th in line I request a few more then out of no where they all decide to come at once even though they were all requested at different times or like I was 20th place and 10th place then somehow they come at once.

    Did that make any sense?lol..

  6. I love the picture of your library! I also have Paranormalcy, although it is my own book. I'm putting Linger on hold since I have two ARCs that I need to read, review and mail out within 7 days but hope to get back to it soon!

  7. My son does have Diary of a Wimpy Kid (he got it for Christmas) but we haven't read it yet. He reads a lot for school and then we have a school read-aloud so we read "fun" books on the weekend. I like to have them read "fluff" so they know that reading can be for learning and just for fun. We haven't read any Captain Underpants yet but will look at those. What grade level are they? He is reading at a 4 year 5 month level so he could probably read them fine.
