Monday Musing-Books we love the others didn't

Monday, January 24, 2011
This week’s musing (courtesy of Squidoo) asks…
Monday Musing is hosted by Should Be Reading.
Is there a book you absolutely love, but for some reason, people never think it sounds interesting, or maybe they read it and don’t like it at all?

Dreamhunter and Dreamquake: Book Two of the Dreamhunter Duet by Elizabeth Knox

Ink Exchange
by Melissa Marr
Those are the only ones I can think of right now. I am sure I am just not thinking hard enough..

There are some books That I did not like and people just seemed to love them.... I got the idea to list these also from my friend @ Book Love Blog.

Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning

(yes I know) I read about half of it and gave up...

Fallen by Lauren Kate

Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia, Margaret Stohl

These last 2 just did not do it for me. They both started out good but something was missing. I need each book in each series to be able to stand alone. I know these where both first books, but they just needed more to them then what I got.

  1. Hey! I couldn't finish Fallen and I thought it was just me! Yay! I'm not a freak!

  2. I never heard of the Knox books...but from looking at the synopsis and reviews on Amazon, it looks like others appreciate your taste in books. :) KMM ROCKS!!!!!!
Check out my answer for Monday's Musing.

  3. Yay Stephanie another person who does not like Fallen..haha

Lori, I just have not yet met one person who also likes the Knox books. I thought maybe if I listed them someone might want to check them out. Thanks for stopping by.
