FROM GOODREADS
As readers of series starter City of Bones already know, teenager Clary Fray is a Shadowhunter, a demon slayer who has the gift of spotting Downworlder werewolves, vampires, and faeries. She is also an adolescent in an abnormally dysfunctional family: Her mom is in a magically induced coma and her father is probably insane and undoubtedly evil. All of which places Clary in situations that would challenge even the most talented average American girl.

My thoughts

Wow, I loved this book. I could not put it down. It was nonstop the whole book. I never wanted to stop reading it because I had to find out what was going to happen next.

Its hard to review this or give any of the story plot without giving too much away. So you will just have to read it.lol.

Trust me if you liked the first one then this is one for you..

Clary is going through so much. Her mom is still in a coma there is still tension with her and Jace. And now things with Simon are picking up but its not that simple. On top of that they all have to fight off her evil father and try to stop hundreds of demons from destroying everything. Clary also is learning new talents that her and Jace both have.

And Jace is facing even more. He may be out of the Clave and stripped of being a shadowhunter all because The Clave is thinking he is a spy. The other person he wants to turn too, is too scared because of her feelings for him. I felt really bad for him. He gave off so many emotions in this book.

5 out of 5 stars!!

  3. Oh my Goodness that scene was intense. I am just waiting and hoping that there has been a mistake and they are not brother and sister.
